Highway in Charlestown
Interesting. Evidently it was a one-time ticket sale just to sponsor the road work. Maybe things would have gone a lot different in this country if they'd made a regular event of it as a means of raising money for government projects. I'm surprised old Alex Hamilton didn't think of it and get it moving, genius he was in finding ways to fund government and keep the budget in balance. Maybe he would have if Aaron Burr'd been a lousier shot. J

N.C. Lottery to transfer $50 million to education
North Carolina's newly adopted lottery will make a $50 million contribution to the state's Education Lottery Fund on Wednesday the first transfer since the inception of scratch-off games three months ago. This is a historical event for education in North Carolina, said Tom Shaheen, the state's lottery chief. The lottery will make its next transfer in October, after the first quarter of the next fiscal year. As of Monday, the education lottery had sold more than $216 million instant-w

i ordered broadband tired of dial up-need advice
Now just hope that 5yr old pc you have will have enough memory on board to handle broadband. Most all of todays pc's run circles around most 5yr old pc's. In either event aol's software will make adjustments to your pc's components for you to have the best experiance. but your pc probably has 125 mega bites of cache memory and would need at least twice that to keep you pc running smoothly. Todays pcs out of the box have 250 megabites and higher. Also the have far superior processors than any

If you wanted to bet $300 in MM, what would be the smartest method?
Hi Leto, Welcome to Lotterypost. Your name reminds me of Lido's Restaurant in Springfield...it's my grandparents favorite place to visit in the Pioneer Valley. To answer your second question: The odds of hitting the megaball are 1 in 46. When you hit the megaball, you could also match 0,1,2,3,4 or 5 white balls. Six different outcomes. When you add up all the odds of 0+1, 1+1, 2+1, 3+1, 4+1 and 5+1, you will get odds of 1 in 46. But each event by itself (e.g. 0+1) has less than

$400 million jackpot
I don't think that in Whitaker's case his behavior has much to do with luck. Winning the lottery is certainly an event involving luck, but being a winner doesn't make you better or worse than anyone else. It's what you do after you win that measures you. Whitaker's bad luck all involves his own choices. No one made him drive drunk. No one made him go to those girlie bars. No one made him treat his grand-daughter so irresponsibly. I really have almost no sympathy for him. Th

a question concerning computerized draws
My impression is that most people dislike RNG draws because there's no recognizeable event associated with the draws. There's no reason to suspect the computer they point at accusing it of generating the numbers had anything to do with the numbers they accuse of winning. There's no reason, even, to suspect any RNG machine exists. Maybe that box they're calling an RNG machine is just an old 286 they threw out when 386s came along, sitting there making futuristic noises and biding its time un

Is it legal...
guys is it legal to create a lotto better than the state lottery?I think is against the law to create a private lottery. What you think. I will apreciate the opinions. It's illegal to hold any type of lottery or raffle unless you are a registered charity. I'm sure some people try to get away with it and get caught. That's also why contests have to advertise No Purchase Necessary so everyone can have an equal chance of winning without spending money. Then it's not considered gambling.

A "Lottery Winner's Education" Section
This is a suggestion that probably needs input from all LP members to get Todd to add a Lottery Winners Education Section But since this is the largest internetmembership gathering of lottery players, I personally think a lot of good and value will be added to membership if we had a section on this site that listed educational steps lottery winners should take in the event they won. The section could have drop down boxes/steps for legal, taxes, financial advisors, relationships, just down

Somebody crack the champagne
cps10: I saw only two lists. Clipper's original which actually has 78 combinations and BA's updated list with 73. Unless I lost all basic addition skills I believe those are the correct numbers. Thinking a bit more on the progression and box bet with the 78 combinations. It actually would be workable to use the progression after 6 no hits, then play the progression for up to the next 3 draws. So from 7-10 draws. You won't be getting lots of opportunities to play but statistically sp

You guys want to make some money?
I think before judging me, you should research all of my posts on this forum. I don't want any computer time. I am simply trying to save anyone from waisting their time from trying to remote view something.....which is not the way to go. That is all I'm doing. I don't talk about how much money I make either.......I answer if I'm asked. But, Amazing grace, you are good, really good. :) I'm impressed you got that far.... Do keep in mind though, that the method you just displa
