Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
Quote: Originally posted by dvdiva on February 05, 2004 i think the likelyhood of it breaking 200 is far more remote. like 5% at most. although in the unlikely avent that happens it would break 200. It would be interesting if you would post the mathematics by which you come to this 5% number since it seems to disagree with the Poisson distribution calculations that I have described here. My calculations BTW seem perfectly reasonable since the Powerball last year exceeded $300 million in spite

Lotsoluck1,Once again, I have to problem with your post here in the forum. Now I switched my login here to MikeK from Everett because the Everett E-Business company is no longer in business and I took it over. I do not have any access to the previous login.I checked again this eveing, to see whether I missed a PM message from you on the new login, but I cannot get to the second page of my messages.Instead of the page number in my private inbox I only see: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
The size of the jackpot increases being the same as they were last time, the probability that the Jackpots of both the MegaMillions and the Powerball rolling over in the next drawings is about the same, 90%. This means that there is only roughly a 10% chance that someone somewhere will win either jackpot, and only a 1 in 100 chance that both jackpots will be won on their next drawings. In my last post in this topic, I made an error. There were not 1.5 million doubly covered possibilities. I

Excel Help needed...formula
I have put my knitting needles down for the night and I am in some need for help.I think I need a substring formula. Here is what I need.I have the sum of 17 in Cell D1In Cell E1, I want the root sum of 17 which is 8. But of course the sum of 17 in cell D1 and the root sum in E1 would change with each draw. Now I think you need to do a substring on the 1 and the 7 but I keep getting a Name2 error code. I just can't seem to get the formula right.I would like one of you wonderful excel experts t

Full details on PA Match-6
Here are a couple of other interesting details:A Match 6 Lotto ticket may not be canceled or voided once printed by the Lottery terminal, even if the ticket is printed in error. This currently is not the case with other PA based games. You have up until 10 minutes to cancel the ticket. Powerball tickets can not be cancelled.3 Winning Numbers $2 1:19.2 4 Winning Numbers $2 1:9.1 10 or More Winning Numbers $2,500 1:597,302.6 The odds are pretty decent. And a ton better than Super 6. Prove it!
But you see Hypersoniq that's where your way off my point is that if you don't know what to look for then that person shouldn't be using these tools. They should LEARN how to use them so they KNOW what to look for all instructions are pretty much crystal clear but if the player only has a certain level of experience or none at all he won't get the results he wants.I know this from my own experience when I first started using software in 1997 I didn't know what the hell to do even after read

I also do checks against say 10 random sets of 10 numbers to compare against the program. I've hity some and lost some. Only time will tell if the program and can truly hit and with repeatability, hence the sample testing trial and error etc.I actually like play

lottosync pred for can 6/49
would you recommend me to buy this software then vick, as im tempted but all this sample with different numbers seems a bit strange really there should be a sample number for each draw eg. 6/49=490 sample and 5/39=390 sample things like that your ticket costs increase because you have to use different sample numbers really its trial and error its almost equivalent to buying quick picks that have 10 different numbers on all tickets dont you think? perhaps ive got it wrong who knows, when they sai

Numbers for Sat. 12/6
Thanks Jorli! This is not lottery related and I won't get too deep into it, but I have been ripped off repeatedly by one of the top banks in this country for a long time and now we're talking about $1000's. Being an easy going guy, I thought it was just human error when they wouldn't credit major deposits (five times in as many years, always over $600 and sometimes up to $1200). Now, someone in that bank is taking $400 dollars a month from me on a regular basis for the last 4 months.
