Years ago, Ohio had a similar idea. They limited the amount one ticket could win so there would be plenty left for the next winners and a lot of people stopped playing and that ended that idea.RJOh

Dead_Aim,Did Adolf make money using the numbers from your system or selling numbers using a system with your screen name? Posters do come to Lottery Post looking for ideas and some have websites that resell them. When you post your ideas, you have no control over how they are used, but using your screen name to resell them with out your permission is lowdown. I guess Adolf is a wanna be too.RJOh

It quite common for lottery programmers and systems designers to sell their programs and systems with no explanation of their inner workings. It could be that numbers are picked randomly for no particular reason which you can test, usually people using the same system or software playing the same lotteries end up with different results. I will be surprised if the jackpot is not won before California joins since the jackpot will be $100M+. With MegaMillions having the highest jackpot in the country, sales of tickets should be high enough to cover more than 50% of the possible combinations for every drawing until it's won. I plan to buy more tickets than I usually do and I'm sure lottery pools will be forming just to play this game until it's won.RJOh

The special pattern that I was referring to was all the core numbers had hit once only before any of them repeated. I back tested knowing it happened in the previous 10 drawings and picked 100 lines randomly and the best I did was 1 x match4 and 7 x match3. There must be more combinations than I thought that meet that condition, maybe that's the reason it happens 25% of the time.RJOh
