Define Winning the Lottery
When playing any lottery game, a win is a win and you probably have beat the odds of winning but not every win is a jackpot win. Winning a few dollars and even a few thousand dollars may not be a jackpot win but that doesn't mean it shouldn't count as a win. Players who play pick3 don't expect to win a life changing amount of money even if they win a lot.

Dual multi-state lottery sales may keep jackpots lower
Ohio might not risk it. They have a crappy state lottery. :( (starts at a million and increases by 100,000) It will suffer if there is another game. I drive to Indiana to play both powerball and the Hoosier lottery. I still buy tickets for the ohio lottery but if I win I may just be a thousandaire. I'd take it though; it would still be life changing.

Which is your game of choice?
I agree with one of the other post I only play games that are life changing, and seeing that I am in Oklahoma and our scratchers are not the best, that leaves me with Powerball. Unless I drive to Texas or Kansas to play their State lottery game or Texas scratchers.

Economy And Lottery
The state of the economy is making people play the lottery, in the hope of winning money, the lottery is a game of faith and luck, if you dont play you won't know if you were going to be the next jackpot winner or winner of a life changing sum of money, as anyone one of us could win the lottery big time, as long as that person has total faith and believe they will win, it will happen

Finally
I don't know why Florida insisted on holding the drawings in Florida before joining the Multi State Lottery, but I can live with it.I don't like the fact that they are changing the matrix and making it harder to win,but since the jackpots are predicted to be bigger,I can live with that, too. What I don't know is if they will continue to have live ball drawings or change over to RNG computer drawings. If they switch to RNG,I can't live with that.I'll quit playing Powerball and invest my money in the

PA Cash 5 Changing Matrix
Apparently realizing that PA lacked a classic jackpot game and Treasure Hunt has taken over as the better odds option, the Pennsylvania Lottery is changing Cash 5. There will now be 43 numbers in the field as opposed to 39, and jackpots will start at $125,000 instead of $100,000. More info later.
