Right. But...my damaged ego was caused by a really traumatic event that shaped my life for last 7 years. The traumatic event was nearly a fatal blow to me. Things got worse when I started having massive psychosomatic pain in 2005. Now I am pain-free but I am still suffering depression started in that year.

I guess you could say anyone who wins a lottery jackpot with a combination they picked predicted a random event, but what are the odds of that happening?
