For Mega last night 4/11 there were 5,257,815 tickets sold. So about half as many tickets are being sold but at $5 instead of $2 they are bringing in a couple million $ than before the increase. Doesn't look like people are changing their budgets. my guess is the regular players will stay in with their previous budgets and people that stay on the sidelines will come in at 600 or 700M jackpots instead of the 300 or 400. Funny how they're already preparing us for an eventual reduction of the $50 mil- new draw figure. Maybe there won't be the $$$ invested by players to provide for that amount but it would be more than made up for on the other mania end when these jackpots grow to astonishing levels. If they don't keep the 50 mil thingy .....it's really cheap in there part.

It will be wild if most players move their mega budgets to powerball and pb starts getting huge jackpots faster while mm grows at a snails pace. i think mega may have made a mistake with this, the price of everything is going up many people aren't going to double what they're spending for non essential.

Like there is nothing more important than making it illegal for people to play non-jackpot games (like the pick 3/4) online through couriers. If they are mad at people buying jackpots then only apply to games that have jackpots that increase over time. Exactly. Our Powerball is easier to win than yours and the jackpots are still life changing. One person just won $30 million this past thursday night. Another person won $60 million a few weeks ago. Waiting for all those it's fair it's not rigged comments to pop up! J/k . But for real. All they gotta do is limit terminals. Unless there filling out play slips. I dunno the specifics of this. But from what I gathered it's an investment firm buying all the tickets. And they also supposedly have a way to drive up jackpots. I dunno though. Hopefully it's not a computer draw game.
