Would you remain Anonymous or have a Press Conference after winning the Jackpot?
Not true. Media can obtain the beneficiary/shareholder of the Trust/Corporation and release your name since that info is public record. They can include your name with the press release that the prize has been claimed via XYZ Trust.

How long until California Wins 1st Powerball Jackpot
Last report indicates that PB sales is around $3.1m. This is a record in CA lottery. Will players maintain this level of spending regardless of PB jackpot size? That's the 2 dollar question!

MM versus PB: Are you going to see a tie again?
Hard to tell with Mega being the cheapest of the two you would think Mega would have the advantage. However the excitement in Cali for PB may draw record #'s.

So how come MM cash values are always considerably closer to their annunity than PB
It's both the length of the annuity and the varying amount of the Powerball payments. Besides being 4 years longer, the powerball annuity pays a much smaller portion in the early years, and a much higher portion in the final years. When do you know a Multi-State JP is really high?
Yeah, I think jackpot burnout is happening even at this level. This is the third time Powerball has crossed over $300 million in the last twelve months as well. In contrast, Mega Millions hasn't seen a single jackpot at $150 million or higher since it set the record $656 million jackpot last March 30, 2012.

$320 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
Good thing that will never happen lol! No for powerball my limit would be 75 picks but it would have to be at or near a record jackpot amount so if it rolls to wed then I would be okay with it.

When do you know a Multi-State JP is really high?
The news media is barely covering this latest roll over so we have yet to go into a true buying frenzy. What are some of the interesting indicators that the jackpot is in record territory?

OMG I really hope someone hits b4 Cali gets in on the PB
If it's not hit on Saturday, the jackpot will be in record setting territory next Wednesday and probably enough in ticket sales to almost guarantee a winner. Would be ironic if the Virgin Islands has a jackpot winner before California.
