Second Chance Drawings
CA Lottery provides the information on their website after the draws are completed. As far as the process, all I know is it's computer selected. Just recently, the same person won the Fantasy 5 2nd chance draw three times in five weeks, so people are up in arms, saying it's rigged, etc. Apparently, the CA Lottery is investigating.

Maryland Mega Millions jackpot winner claims prize
Yeah, but there are some in here that are more... conspiracy-minded . I personally don't have a problem with it. I believe there's only six states that allow for anonymous claiming, so maybe it's the states that DON'T allow anonymous claiming that have a problem with it. Should lottery winners remain anonymous? Lotteries object, arguing that publicizing the winners' names drives sales and that having their names released ensures that people know there isn't something fishy afoot, like

Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
I've never seen a lottery that had a number frequency matching its odds of appearance exactly. Randomness keeps this from happening. As such anything is game for the short run.....streaks, skips, whatever. There's only been 26 draws of Power Play and you already believe it's rigged/bogus/biased....despite me providing statistical evidence to the contrary. Honestly I don't think there have been enough draws to reach this conclusion. Last night Power Play number 5 came up. On an unrelated no

Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
Chi-squared analysis. It's the same exact test used by lottery auditors, whose sole purpose, by the way, is to determine if the drawings are rigged/biased. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chi-squared_test http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearson%27s_chi-squared_test There are also other tests for smaller samples, i.e. auditing when a game has just been launched.

New California games
I do not doubt your opinion, the type of scratchers that I see other states offer is more intriguing than what we have, more multipliers/symbols instant winners, and even a true jackpot like payout (100,000 a year for life). I remember two years ago we had a $5 game called Hot Streak with 6 mini games in one, but there has not been another remake of that. I also think it ultimately boils down to the players winning to improve sales. I think the 2009 AB142 accomplished a good part of that, the

$400 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot soars
Eh, not sure why everyone is so excited. We all know these large jackpots are rigged for California and NY so one of those residents will win. Gotta keep that money flowing in from the big states!

$309 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot rolls into top 25
I wonder which idiot box told you that every crazy conspiracy theory that pops into your head needs to get validated. Don't get your panties in a bunch because others the rest of us won't put on a foil hat and join you Whiner-ville. I mean you do see that other states produce winners, don't you? So why ignore the factual evidence simply because you want to push forward with your conspiracy agenda? If you think it's all rigged the answer is very simple...don't play or report your 'findings' to th

Should California win the next 6 PB jackpots, would you shout " Conspiracy? "
Folks, I know those who do not live in California, Florida, New York or New Jersey always want to think the lottery is rigged whenever multiple winners hail from those places in a given year. However, it is all about numbers. If you look at the number of tickets sold per state and territory, you will note that those lead the pack in ticket sales. Now what does suck is when Indiana, Wisconsin, South Caroline, D.C., Rhode Island, and the like have multiple winners in a close span just because t
