Oklahoma Powerball lottery winner claims prize
It's especially good to hear of a state's first jackpot winner choosing lump sum. More so if the annuity value is nine figures.

MM over/under $50 million
Unfortunately, if they do change the matrix again they may end up back-loading their annuity like Powerball does, especially if Powerball gets Florida.

When NY Lotto 59 is retired
That would be interesting. It probably would have a 40% payout AND be annuity-only.

Mass. Megabucks Improvements.
Tell that to the MA Lottery. Also tell that to the NY Lottery, as both have oodles of annuity-only scratches.

The Powerball jackpot is now at $135 million ($61.5 million cash), the largest it's been in 3.5 months (both cash and annuity).

Calif. lotto winner remains hidden
I see Calif is using a graduated annuity for SuperLotto. Does anyone know if this has always been the case?

Ohio LOP-how much longer?
I don't have a problem with how LOP works; what I don't like is that Ohio does not use a floating percentage for the cash-to-annuity ratio. Lump-sum winners get stiffed.
Ohio was considering a lifetime prize game. Ohio gives scratch winners a choice of cash or annuity, so I can see Ohio offering a cash option in a lifetime game. Regardless, I don't see LOP lasting much longer, as the jackpot was hit in a drawing that would otherwise have paid out the lowest for a Saturday drawing.

MM increases by only 2 million
Yeah, but Mega Millions would probably increase its jackpot by a minimum of $5 million if it backloaded its annuity like Powerball does.
