Anonymous winner in Indiana!
Agreed Jim. The Hoosier Lottery is shameless in thier exploitation of winners. Given all the corruption at the Hoosier Lottery I have to wonder what's going on here. However, I say again that being able to claim your prize anonymously is a right every lottery winner should have. And it will be interesting to see if this starts a trend in Indiana of anonymous winners. Jim

Would u try to remain anonymous?
In Maryland, you can chose to remain anonymous, and I would. Having said that, I also know that it is dependant on the size of the Jackpot Winnings. If it is the size of the record that PB was recently, I would get it over with because someone is still going to Freedom of Information my behind if I win something ridiculously large. I would do one press conference and say no more than 30 words. But I would have moved, picked up new phones, land and cell at least a couple of days before the pr

Remaining Anonymous for Winners?
Depends on the state. In WA state (a megamillions state) the winner can put the winnings in a trust and devide the money how they want. They can also remain anonymous. In OR state the winner has to be a person (no trusts) and can not divide the money the way they want. I guess the next winner in OR might have to sue to gain that right. It's better to check the actual rules and state laws of the state you play in and not base it on a third party site.

Remaining Anonymous for Winners?
I'm not sure you can do it. I keep hearing over and over that either the play slip or the back of the ticket, the actual ticket, is itself a press release. If you culd remain anonymous it would probably be the best move you could make, but I'm not sure you can. Especially not with Mega Millions and Powerball.
