Pa. lawmaker wants to give lottery winners right to remain anonymous
Well, if it's a bearer instrument, then it can move from one person to another.
We see many people saying they are scared to win this much money. Well, let's say we have some scaredy cat who bought a ticket and it wins, but he's too scared of the money and gives it to his friend after the draw, lawfully, and with witnesses. His friend goes to claim the ticket and winnings.
So who's the winner? The first guy, or his friend? They don't call the friend the winner? What do they all him in the

Widow and daughter will split estate of poisoned $1 million lotto winner
1)it depends on the state law and whether a person vs. an entity can collect a JP.
In VA, only a person/individual can collect so no trusts, etc. are permitted Washington, DC allows trusts.
2.) The next question is if they release names of winners for trusts. For a few states, you have to file a copy of the trust at a local courthouse. Most states require paperwork to be filed for a LLC and some business records can be publicly available.
So for your state, you really need an expert i

Who is scratch off king and what's the secret
I checked with the tire king and matrress king, they think it's just a marketing gimmick by a guy who's not really an offical american royal. Here is what you would have got if you went for the offer.

What it amounts to is sticking to a budget. Picking a ticket the state website says has plenty of prizes left. Jumping on a new game release. Investing a good win into buying a roll.

Calif. Lottery trying to track down big winner
I hate to rain on your parade of I know my rights but when you venture out in public places you are free game.
You have no rights when it comes to being videotaped or photographed.
Look at what celebrities have to endure. they don't need your permission to release your photo
the only way to avoid it is stay inside your home.
when you go outside you are constantly being videotaped.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Some nice wins on your purchases. I've yet to have a profitable purchase.
As for the holiday scratchers, they usually release them around Halloween. I do not play the $1, $2, or $3 scratchers at all, but for the $5 ones. I know they skipped the $5 one in favor of a Tripling Crossword variant $3 last year, but hopefully it can make a return.
2010 Winter Green
2011 Holiday Riches
I think are those are the only ones I ever got over 100% ROI, I landed a bunch of $50/$100 winners.

SC Lottery to end Carolina Cash 6 game
Well, I would assume they knew the payout of the game beforehand. Otherwise you would have to believe the press release about lackluster sales was a lie and they were unaware of the payout of the game? I don't buy that. Many scratch games are higher payout, and Keno is also in that range.
Sounds more like the incompetent marketing of the games. They have a Cash 6 game with 74% payout, and don't advertise that? Well, then I guess they'd have to also explain why the Cash 5 was only 45% payout.

Three tickets to split $448 million Powerball jackpot
Well, not everyone is as well as educated as to what the consequences might be. There are a lot of casual players out there who don't take the time to really figure it out or think that it cannot be as bad as people think. They may think that the lottery will release their names anyway so why not start the countdown to getting the money and enjoying it.
Plus, there are some people who really enjoy their 15 minutes of fame and want everyone to celebrate with them.
As for me...I want to be
