Are you ever embarrassed that you're not a winner yet?
I doubt embarrassment is the right term for this, rather I feel ashamed for how states manipulate the lottery systems. As they well know that patterns in life do truly exist and will find whatever its possible to make a game odds ten times harder than it already is. If not read about the Lagrangian Mechanics .
I recently learned in my statistics class that out of 10,000 men of about 30 years old only 0.9986 will survive and the .14 remaining will die (information gathered from US. department

Texas authorities had previously investigated brother of lottery cheat
By Todd Northrop
The outrageous Hot Lotto rigging scandal that started in Iowa is now spreading into other states including Texas. Officials are taking a second look at a $570,000 winning multi-state lottery ticket purchased a decade ago in Colorado by a Central Texas judge.
The investigation does not involve the Texas state lottery.
Tommy Tipton, the subject of the investigation, is a Fayette County Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3, based in Flatonia. According to records from the T

Florida 2015 [paneagle]
Although you may think that its crazy how only One person can take such a huge amount of money on their own, it seems as you did try yourself to beat the odds somehow. But then, you also seem to strike towards games that have millions of possible combinations thus making the game even harder. Not to mention the gap in time that exists between every game, thus decreasing the chances of winning even more. On September 29th, a computer in Michigan - very far from Florida sold a winning ticket to a

The PA Lottery Ripped Me Off Again ... Part 2
I'm fast changing my mind about the self-service terminals ... am in agreement with you about being cautious.
I've been burned twice now this year and will be changing my routine with future ticket buying.
At least you won ... came out ahead on your self-serve terminal experience. My using the terminals has met with limited success ... humans or no humans !
Lucky you, going to get some Mass-Cash tickets. I suppose you read my joke post in the Pick 5 thread about PA getting a new evening

Taking the Mystery out of Picking Numbers (jackpot games)
Maybe I should have taken the time to explain WHY the back digits are more important.
The BACK DIGIT determines whether the number is even or odd.
Maybe you don't think about that ever, or you rarely pay attention, or you buy QPs and get stuck with whatever came out of the machine. Whatever you do, remember the rule of Even/Odd and High/Low. Most combinations have all of them.
The Front Digit pattern is a smaller set and can only hit in certain ways, always lowest to highest.

Interesting Powerball Results Last Night
I think it's a good strategy ... it has worked over the years for some ... as for me, I have been doing that type of play with duplicate tickets and so far have always come up empty.
... maybe you remember this story ... again from 2012.

Post your scratch ticket results
OSH-
Have been there myself and you are not alone! It is chasing, thinking and knowing you can get it all back and have done it myself. I have always purposely set a daily cash withdrawal limit on my check card of $500, mainly for fraud purposes in case it got stolen, but also in case I found myself in the casino (only one to be had here in NC).
At least here, I have shown myself that scratch-offs are NEVER a way to win some quick cash. I have a bin full of losers (buying books of 30 at

It's probably no secret that I like studying the numbers. I've become a Numbers Junkie and I have to say I enjoy it. Fortunately for me, being addicted to studying the numbers hasn't spilled over into me becoming addicted to playing the lottery. A gambling addiction's a very serious thing. I play responsibly, I never bet more than I can afford to lose. But I can see how easily someone could get addicted to any kind of gambling.
Today, The Mrs and I are driving over to Connecticut to do some g

How are Mega/Powerball numbers generated regarding lotto games.
This is something that I also have wondered about ... do the self serve terminals have their own Random Number Generators or are the QP numbers coming from lottery headquarters ... so that there is only one RNG in the whole state producing QP numbers.
Therefore it doesn't make any difference whether a person buys a QP ticket from a human being terminal or a self serve terminal ... those numbers are all generated from lottery headquarters ???
This Florida PowerBall story has always facinate
