Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Well, All I can say to you and anyone with your view of sample size for a 6/47 Matrix, or any other Matrix sample size is.... email the Developers of Lotto Pro , voice your opinion,.. see what THEY say in response.. You may be correct if you're only using home grown data or processes (Cmoore50's term)..but I keep reinterrating that Probability Math's formulas keeps track of EVERYTHING..!! Far back , waaay beyond what most , if not all Software can.. How do you think the Math was able t

Emotion or logic when predicting winning numbers?
Dr.Truthfully?... I would solve such a problem by 1st of all to Never consider such a notion.!!.. It's MOOT..!!.. Probability of an event in Lotteries aren't so sub-setable... It's akin to setting out for the opposite Coast of the Country, only to travel around the Moon to get there..!! If you haven't yet pulled out all your hair by now?, ..you've got to be getting real close to doing so... As Raven62 told you... It's YOUR Baby!!,..I refuse to ponder such Mathematical redundancy..

Lottery industry facing new threat in 'skill' games
It started with the PA Lottery blaming skill games and lack of PB and MM must play jackpots and apparently now spread to other state lotteries. Drew Svitko, executive director of the Pennsylvania Lottery, blames the anticipated less profitable year that the lottery is having to the proliferation of games of skill and lack of big Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots. As for placing blame it's not the state legislators that decided lottery players need two multi-million jackpot $2 a

Lottery strategy: fact or fiction?
The lottery system is designed for the drawings to be random and fair. So true but some swear it's rigged because they can't win or they are off by one digit in daily games or a several pairs in jackpot games. It is easy to think there's no consistency and no predictability for this reason. Yes and no. But, there is some consistency at times but short lived and predictability based both on probability and patterns. It is unfortunate that the expectations one has in probabilities because th

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
You could test your strategies and never worry about the states seeing your actual picks That's exactly what I'm doing... If their process is truly random, then, in this manner, Probability Math can truly be tested...my posting at 1 minute or less before the drawing,..the Lottery can't see my selections in time to react, possibly rigg it... Programs don't predict the lotteries results, .. PROBABILITY MATH does..!! Any Programs merely keeps track of the Hazard's historical records, of

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
I enjoyed reading your reply and I thank you for it. You hit the nail squarely on the head when you wrote about probability being unable to tell me when an event will happen. That's what I've experienced during the four or five years since I first discovered/learned that the big hitter in 365 drawings of a 5/39 game will hit very close to 58 times. I've known a certain number was going to come out a lot, but I never knew when it was going to come out. The best I could ever do with knowing a n

Lottery Ethics
The classic lotto 47 in Michigan starts at $1 million. If it were to hypothetically hit every time, then every drawing, the lottery would need to pay out $1 million (taxes and lump sum factors aside). But when it doesn't hit and rolls, it doesn't increase by $1 million, only 100K-200K typically. So the lottery gets more profits when it doesn't hit for a long time. When I started playing years ago, commonly it would hit once every few drawings. For it to go up to even the 3 million range was unco
