PA Lottery New Pick-2 Game - details not released yet - any ideas?
OK ... understand it better now from Canada ... might be able to play this like some people do at roulette in a casino.
Looking at the OLG stats for the game ... number 5 is the best 1st and 2nd number ... they have come out more than the other numbers ... so maybe playing the 5s (in Canada) since you get your money back on all the other 5 numbers.
Have to wait to see how the numbers work out in PA ... it's possible this may be of interest to a roulette player and others ... a person maybe

Real Powerball payout rate is 30%. Does it make sense to play?
It would indeed be nice if our jackpot games took a cue from Europe and Canada where the advertised jackpot is what you get free and clear of taxes.
Europe and Canada has a different tax structure than the U.S. and gambling isn't taxed, but that doesn't mean it will never be taxed. Tax on certain gambling winnings was in the Federal tax code before the PB and MM began.
Why is it that some lottery players just can't understand the top MM and PB prizes is the amount the winner gets after a

What happens if a Canadian wins the PB?
Just for curiosity, what happens if a Canadian wins the PB, in regards to taxes and anonynimity?
I know they'd have to pay U.S. federal taxes, but since Canada does not tax gambling wins would they have to pay any Candian nation or provincial taxes?
Just curious, as I'm sure there's people from Canada crossing into the U.S. to play PB with this jackpot.
I'd say coming south but not all Candians live north of some Americans!

Is everyone playing the lottery in hopes of being able to retire, what are your reasons for playing?
Hi Elizabth03,
I reside in Massachusetts. It's great that you live in the beautiful Country of Canada where you have Universal Health Care (unlike our country, but that's a whole other story, lol). If you win the lottery, which I hope you do, your lottery winnings are tax free not like here where we are taxed on lottery winnings. Don't get me wrong I will gladly pay my taxes on any lottery winnings but if you win a million dollars in the lottery in Canada you get to keep that amount and here
