All in favor of one person winning vs. many winners
There were 3 Mega Millions Jackpot winning tickets that shared a new United States Jackpot record of $656 million. The winning tickets were in Illinois, Kansas, and Maryland. What do you think about my comment?

Anyone else find the jump in MM j/p surprising?
Maybe it's because there are more people playing now? I didn't even know about MM until the record and I just started playing. I assume there are others like me.

Powerball Vs Mega Millions
It will be interesting to see how fast the Mega Millions jackpot increases on this run, since historically, sales have increased on runs following $300+ million jackpots, not to mention record jackpots.

Powerball Vs Mega Millions
Oh yeah, I remember this happened to Powerball seven years ago this time. At the time, the opening jackpot was $10 million, and there were seven winners of jackpots $45 million in a three month span. However, after it ended, PB came back and rolled sixteen times to a jackpot of $220 million, which was a big deal at the time. Sixteen rolls of the current PB structure will put the game at a new record jackpot, as I highly doubt the pot will increase by only $10 million once it gets past five draws

World's biggest lottery jackpot won by three tickets
A non posting member yeah, probably only posts when the jackpot is close to record breaking. Whether anyone believes it or not it is still pointless to post without proof. Sure anyone could photoshop a fake ticket but only the most dedicated would go that far. Most will take his word for it because it was not the jackpot and no one really cares. But I can say after about 8 years of reading here that I heard that line before, and most from new members or ones who did not post much. If anyone actu

$640 MILLION: MEGA MANIA!
I love the fact that we actively participated in a record breaking lottery. We are all part of history. That is pretty amazing.

Who signs the back of the Mega ticket if you win and want to be anonymous?
Blind Trust sounds great on paper. Just way too much power for in most cases a total stranger. If a single winner wins this world record jackpot, I don't think a trust is going to stop someone from gettting the story of who won...It could actually blow up in your face and bring even more attention to the person. I think I would go the disguise and name change route if I'm lucky enough to be the only winner...The less people involved in controlling the jackpot the better imop.
