TX winner a potential loser
The article Todd posted this morning about the Houston-area Lotto Texas winner DID NOT mention that Lotto Texas has a cash option, which like California, and here in New York, must be exercised at the time of purchase. The article leads people (who casually follow US lotteries) to believe that Lotto Texas is like the Mass. 6/42 and 6/49 games, both of which are still ANNUITY-ONLY.

Lottery Taxes
In the recent months several postings have been about Uncle Sam's cut. Please read the excellent article that was posted yesterday concerning Uncle Sam's cut. This may help clear things up alittle. As I previously stated 28% withholding by the Lottery is not correct, so please pay attention to the article.

Dream Team 04/01/20 - 04/30/20
Good point Soledad. I been reading that magazine, bummed that they cut down to just the Stats issue. There was some good info in the Lotto News edition.
Regarding the switching of machines, they also have several 'Ball Sets'. In an effort to learn more about the 'pre-draw' numbers I ran across a couple of articles about the process of drawing the Numbers and Win4.
From memory, there are four machines for each game (P3 and W4). Before the draw, they get two machines out of a locked room an

New ~ "More Manifestation"
More ManifestationBy Julia GriffinMany, many readers called to learn more about manifestation. This article is a response to the questions asked by Aquarius' readersThe previous manifestation article explained that we are all creators, but we tend to create what we don't want as opposed to creating our hearts' desires. One of the secrets of manifestation is finding the place where we dwell in our perpetual thoughts and emotions. Many of us focus on our doubts, fears, and limitations wonder why

Virginia Lottery wasn't quite ready for Mega Millions game changes
Very misleading article. The 180 tickets in question do have a chance of winning the jackpot. In fact, they have the same chnace of winning as every other ticket sold for the Tuesday draw.
Or the article completely missed the error made. Maybe the 180 tickets in questions have numbers from 71 to 75 - numbers that are no longer in the drawing. That would be a mistake.
Either way, something is wrong with the article and the drawing.

Hey bigboar... Executive orders aren't law.
Executive Orders do not require Congressional approval to take effect but they have the same legal weight as laws passed by Congress. The President's source of authority to issue Executive Orders can be found in the Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution which grants to the President the executive Power. Section 3 of Article II further directs the President to take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed. To implement or execute the laws of t

Scamming store owner loses lottery license
that is a very small segment of the East Indian community. If there was an article about how someone got mugged and I jumped to the conclusion that the mugger is most likely named Tyrone or Jamal, then that would make me a racist against African Americans.
If there was an article about someone getting arrested for sneaking across the border and I jumped to the conclusion that the person's name must be Martinez, that would make me a racist against Latinos.
In this case, the article is about

1 year later, Iowa Lottery still hunting for suspicious no-show winner
This article reads: Crawford Shaw, the 77-year-old lawyer from Bedford, New York who has been the public face of the mystery, again declined Tuesday to say how he obtained the ticket.
The article also indicates that this lawyer was ONLY the second small law firm involved in this 'trust endeavor' in a series of three law firms. Though this article doesn't reveal, what was the name, phone #, e-mail address, and/or location of the lawyer or law firm who mailed lottery ticket to and hired Crawfo

The Art of Lottery Numbers PredictionThe G.A.T. Engine Prediction Project by Anastasios Tampakis.
This article appeared in the Article Section of Lotto Logix. Supposedly it is a number prediction program that one would subscribe to for around $52 to $66 per year. The higher end price includes some wheeling capabilities. Has any read this article and/or purchased the subscription? If so, what were your reactions, and if purchased, how did it perform?
Thanks,
Lou
