1,000 from each state. They were 33% democrat, 33% republican, 34%independent.
And that's exactly why I asked for a reputable poll. With that type of polling the independents would decide every result because the GOP and Dems will vote along party lines. When I voted in the primary there was no independent ballot ; it was one party or the other if I wanted to vote.
A very balanced, unbiased cross section of the country, wouldn't you say?
Which Country? The only state I know having a

New Poll: Should Polls be used to persuade?
It depends on who is doing the poll and what kind of poll it is.
Is it the Nielsen rating calling to ask if you're watching a specific show? That's a yes or no close ended poll.
Is it a newspaper or online news poll asking for a yes/ no vote, or which candidate you'd pick?
Is it a discussion board, the forum section, of a sitre such as LP?
Usually a poll would consist of several options, up to 10 here, and the last one is Other with an invitation to explain or discuss the choice of o

Poll: Another Lottery Fairy Poll / past lives and ...
I constantly miss the Pick 3 by one digit, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Last night I played 745, it wasn't a one digit miss (638 was drawn, Illinois), but 745 hit straight today for the Mid-Day.
So I'm wondering if I did something in a past life to really tick off the Lottery Fairy.
How about you folks?

Should one play if they have others feeding them
It was more than just a poll. It was condescending and cruel. TnTea started a poll calling people stupid, lazy and slobs. That took some nerve. I suppose she lives in a glass house and she is obviously a legend in her own mind. She has this miraculous ability to only help people she truly knows aren't screwing the givernment out of money. She seems to think as a teacher she makes so much money, that the taxes she pay goes to the assistance of more than 50% of those on assistance.

Poll on Florida Lottery Site
Occasionally the Florida Lottery site will have a poll. I'm not sure if it's just a coincidence, but a few of them have been on subjects we were discussing on Lottery Post.
When I signed on last night, I saw that the new poll asks a few questions about ball drawings vs electronic drawings. One of the questions is:
For you personally, which of these two methods do you feel is more fair and random?
Please check it out!
