Purchased 3 $25 Tix this morning at local Publix, 2 from the Machine (Different rolls) and one over the counter. The Over the counter ticket was a Dud, One from the Machine gave me $30 and the other a moneybag worth $400. Once again proving my theory of that there is no need to buy more than 3 tickets. I Cashed that on the spot. Deposited $300 and I went against my 3 ticket theory and purchased 6 more Tickets at 2 different places believe it or not all 6 were Duds. Decided to stop for the day. I

If it were his own numbers I would empathize. The same numbers might not have been pulled had the machine produced the ticket even a second earlier. He should not feel robbed, and I think it was silly to sue. I also think it's weird that the machine doesn't go offline for an hour or two after the cut off time for each official drawing. He was told as much and accepted the ticket anyway. It might have been his strategy to play minutes before the drawing. I know people who do this.

Yes, I use one in the grocery store sometimes, but I mostly buy my tickets at a locally owned (as are all here in Texas) liquor store because the retailer's cut would stay here in town and not go to some out-of-state corporation. I hope that if the store ever sells a winning ticket, the owner would give bonuses to his employees.
