$336 million Powerball ticket sold at R.I. supermarket
It would be just poetically perfect, if Warren Buffet had just happen to be that lucky person shopping at that supermarket in R.I. This would be mere pocket change for him, perhaps JUST a generous tip for some well deserving waitress.
CONSPIRACY THEORIES, RIGGED LOTTERY SCAMS , here we come.............let the entertainment begin.!!!
YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

$310 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot in rare territory
I guess you think the lottery is rigged then. You are certainly entitled to that opinion. I just don't think there's any evidence for it.
Sure, the jackpot could be won in any of those states. You included several states on your list, and accumulatively I'm sure the players in those states will purchase quite a few tickets so they have a good shot at winning. But any player in any state has an equally good chance of winning, so I'm not sure what it proves.
The funny thing is that there ar

$310 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot in rare territory
Not sure what you mean by the wrong demographic . The lottery is random, so everyone has an equal chance of winning, no matter where they live.
A state or a store does not win the lottery, people do. I will never understand the obsession with a particular state winning the jackpot, other than it being fun to see someone close to home win it. Saying that a particular state won to support the notion that the lottery somehow controls who wins is the same as saying that the lottery is rigged. An

$200 MILLION: New Powerball delivers huge lottery jackpot
The game is not rigged. The scrutiny of a multi-billion dollar lottery system has many checks and balances from all fifty states and federal oversight.
The formula for the quick picks is obviously a kept secret. There is no rhyme or reason for how certain #'s come up. That is because they are randomly drawn. Because you were not happy with the results, don't blame it on the system.
As an example, I have tracked pick 3 numbers in my state that have not been drawn in 2+ years. They were obvi

A Poor Man Does Not Have A Chance??
What I am trying to figure out is, how is this type of food related to the question A Poor Man Does Not have a Chance? I feel this should not be discussed on this thread!
However, I feel whomever have control of those lottery machines , it can be rigged to where the money goes! These are humans who control the machines. Some poor people in NY win big and many do not. I question the lottery games all the time!
Blessings

Anomynity/ Lottery winners.
It matters if you won. ;)
For some, it matters to prove the games aren't rigged.
For the lotteries, being able to show the face and name of one of your neighbors is a great marketing tool.

Pennsylvania still has winners out there!
I have been trying the older tickets lately,I found a phillies ticket tonight
For $40 it was number 002 and the other day I won on a birthday cash for $50
Which is hard to find around me. I just think most of the newer tickets
are rigged more than ever now, you barley get your money back anymore.

What stinks that you don't make on time!!
It's not rigged.
It's the coconuts.
They keep falling on the computer.
And people's heads.

Post your scratch ticket results
Before there were casinos in PA the daily numbers and the scratch offs were all there was. (Not counting all the cherry master and poker machines in the bars.)
When we all started to spend our money at the casinos instead of buying scratch offs, the state had to do something to generate money. Forget the FACT that they are making a KILLING off the casino revenues. The bean counters saw a decrease in scratch off money coming in.
SO, what do they do? The same thing the casinos in AC did a fe

Pennsylvania: 10/1 - 10/31/2011
I told you people long ago that daytime was rigged! Today made me think it's totally random. Some other states even post their test results, and it really is allover the board. The point is, it's a game and you're betting on numbers. The only sure bet is to play all ways, every number, but you would lose out. If you're trying to play 50/50 and can't win, but when you do it's only $330 or $290, you're not gonna be happy if that's all you win, which is where I used to stand. Now I pick certain num
