I see your point,... But now lately,whenever the Math points out a ball, LOz have placed a ball 1 number higher there, which suggests that they're planning ahead to defeat what the Math might predict.. whereas EARLIER drawing data points them out right on the money... Which is why I've always suspected the 15 - 45 min , 1 hr cutoff time, as their M.O.M. Not to mention the sabotaging of my wireless printers, device lottery software, that I don't see Nobodyelse complaining about happening

Last summer I was in Texas for vacation, I bought a 15 draw Texas Lotto ticket, the jackpot was in the 30M range. I did not win the jackpot . But you are right, at $1 a draw even with the odds it feels ok. Where I live the state doesn't tax the lottery, so a 1M win would be 630K, which is a very decent win. I add the extra $1 for the power play to make it 1,260,000 after taxes, now that sounds very good Good luck on your upcoming draws and Happy Birthday in advance.

I appreciate the principal in choosing to play what did not go up in price. However, lately everything seems to be going up in price, the only difference being that most of those items one does not have a choice but to buy them regardless, gas for example. But I recognize that for the lottery it's not a must purchase and one can choose not to buy if the price is not favorable.

That's not how lottery tickets work, where you pay $5 and in exchange for that they pay you $163 million every time. If I buy a ticket, I haven't won yet. At that point the prize is worth just a few pennies. Most of the ticket price goes to the jackpot winner (which is almost guaranteed to be someone else) and profit. No thanks!
