102 Mega Millions Jackpot 4/8/05
jsk,Those 32 numbers are correct, chances are you have at least 3 of the winning numbers in that group. Last Friday, biglooooser managed to have 4 of the core numbers and the mega ball in a group of 18 numbers, he claimed to have a system that allowed him to do that most of the time. Good luck to you.RJOh

Press your luck?
rjoh, your missing the point of the hypothetical. i agree it would be a dumb thing for a lottery commission to do. the question was whether you would like to take an all of nothing chance.

Press your luck?
Any lottery commission would be pressing its luck if it offered anyone a 50/50 chance to multiply a dollars by five per dollar bet. It would lose 50% of the times and pay out 2.5 times the money it would take in, no lottery commission is that dumb.RJOh

Lottery software development ideas
RJOH:Wow. Only 1:7 odds against? Amazing. I'd allowed myself to think the guy had accomplished something impressive. 1:7 odds? I'd guess you beat those kinds of odds just about every draw, hmmm? You were obviously right to be so disparaging with him, seems to me. Insulting, I think he asked and you refused to deny. You're a piece of work, amigo.Jack

I would expect if that is true then when a player with her software wins, he could expect to split his winnings with some other players with the same software.RJOh

Fortune Cookie Powerball nonsense
With only 2,869,685 possible combinations of 5's in a 5/53 game that is played in so many states, it is not impossible to believe that that that many people have played the same combinations of 5's before but the numbers were never drawn. MegaMillions have even less possible combinations of 5's and are selling more tickets, so don't be surprised if the same thing happens with it one day.RJOh

Introducing my 18 months work
When ever a member mention their system or program and how well it works, I check their prediction statistics. So far there has been only a couple of members who had something to sell that has actually tested it using the prediction board.RJOh
