If you won the lottery, would you leave dodge or...
if i won, i'd be on a plane out of canada tomorrow. the country doesn't do anything for the working man. the justice system is a joke. it's a group of lawyers and judges and whoever else is in cahoots. they know where the money is...and that's with the criminals. revolving door justice. screw the working man..you buy your house..your car..all your hard earned cash to pay for it and the crack heads and thieves just take it. but really who cares?? as long as i got all the things i need..who real

Lottery winner buys spectacular wilderness area
I'm sure you're right that most Americans would agree with you, but in general our grasp of science and geography is, um, not so good. Some parts of Canada are further south than some parts of Iowa, but it's not nearly as simple as how far north a place is. In a typical winter the coldest place in the lower 48 is often Old Forge, NY, which is a few hunded miles further south than northern Maine*, which is a couple of hundred miles further south than the North Dakota border with Canada. Opening A Private Offshore Bank Account for Gambling
Canada has much less of a history of nationalizing things than Mexico (Canada just VATs the heck out anything that moves). At the moment, for easy conversion 1$US = 1$C, common language, and non-sticky-finger officials, there's no contest. That is, if your issue is just the CC/DC transaction restriction. You could just use an International Postal Money Order to fund the account, and be done with it. No CC involved at all, that way. No extra bank account to report on. People should know tha

Couple nearly victims of lottery scam
Perhaps US authorites should do some public service announcements which would include the following: ...particularly with the Canadian lotteries. All lottery payments are in cash, with no deductions. These winnings are not taxable in Canada if you win on this lottery. There is no further liability for any amount, and you actually get 100% of the prize amount that is forecast. If a Canadian wins the Canadian lottery, the funds are given to the winner in cash, with no tax liabilitie
