The Shotgun Playing Method To Winning A Lottery Jackpot.
The main point of the Shotgun Playing Method is that you can increase your chances of winning any lottery game but not your odds.
You can actually participate with 1 quick pick ticket in any lottery game pool. Remember every lottery game is a just a big pool of players in itself.
Buying more tickets increase your chances of winning a lottery jackpot, but you can lose the most money in the short run.
A LOTTERY STOP LOSS LIMIT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL OVER THE LONG RUN,

Mega Millions winner forced to split jackpot with co-workers
Exactamundo! Pools are a hassle and compared to individuals, they rarely win.
Another problem is you're usually in the pool with a bunch of tightwad skinflints and miserly cheapskates who pinch pennies so hard they have Lincoln spinning in his grave in agony. That's the kind of people pools attract.
And you know what happens when one of those tightwads misses a drawing and the pool wins - it's sleazy lawyer time.
Avoid pools just like you'd avoid the cheapskates that like them.

Annual payment on 5 grand?? Not 5 million?
I think once a pool gets near a dozen, 2 dozen max, it's time to break it into 2 smaller groups.
A JP divided by 40-50 people isn't going to be much fun, plus you know the manager of that pool would spend way too much time on paper pushing ... if they're doing things right.

NJ man sued over $38.5M lottery ticket
A trail is underway in the case of a New Jersey construction worker who is being sued by his former co-workers after cashing in a $38.5 million lottery ticket.
Americo Lopes and five co-workers participated in a weekly lottery pool starting in 2007 where they worked at Berto Construction, according to the New Jersey Star-Ledger.
Each participant contributed $2 to the pool and Lopes would buy the tickets. Lopes also played the lottery independently from the pool.

Weak Powerball Sales?
had a think,
and really , i aint figured out how you asign the jackpot, someone ticked %10, and then gets %10 of the cash in the pot, i think made an error some where. the penalty for assigning low amounts to a pool sis that when you win there's stuff all cash in that pool.
ehh i should think more before i type.

Second Chance Drawing For $5-10 Million.
Wow..... we have the same exact $2 game in NH (same name, except it is pick 4 numbers out of pool of 35, and 1 out of a pool of 35).
But our multi-state game is different as they award 100 randomly picked ticket #'s $100 every week from our tri-state area automatically. (no need to enter your losing tickets on line).
Have come close many times....but no cigar.

A couple of new questions (I think)...cash gifts, pools winning option
Don't think I've seen these covered:
1. Someone recently posted that a couple could give gifts of $26,000, that being the limit of $13,000 by each (I thought it was $12K).......but if they gave $50,000 let's say, could they call $26,000 of it a gift?
2. If players in a pool win a jackpot, does the entire pool have to unanimously choose annuity or cash option, or can the individuals choose one by one? I'm thinking that would be quite a trick but I'm not sure if it's allowed or not.
