Do the Platinum Statistics allow you to sort by Ball Set & count Practice Draws?
I definitely understand your feelings on that, but it's for precisely that reason that I feel the lotteries should all release that information, and make it easy to access.
By keeping that information hidden, they open themselves to suspicion. People ask themselves, Why are they keeping that data private if there's nothing to hide?
While some people may feel that the lottery is totally random, others feel just as strongly that it is not. I may personally feel one way or the other, but I d

Texas Lottery confirms that Quick Picks are not generated by "central computer"
if the lottery has nothing to hide then they should release a schmatic and the truth of there update procedure. If the state is really on the up and up.
If the terminals are proven to be influenced by an outside daily frimware update-- why trust them.
I would like to see tickets generated totally indepentantly. No outside influence possible.
Honesty is the best policy. As I do not live in texas, I have not seen the inside or worked on their
equipment. All states are not the same. I

Constructing dynamic coverings
Hi JKing,
the logic is universal and the system allows working with 2-12 ball lotteries. Up to 7 balls games, you can deal with a pool of 99 balls. Beyond 7 ball games, the total numbers you can deal with is reduced to a minimum 37 for a 12 ball lottery. I think this i more than enough for any sort of lottery game around the world. As for the release date, I expect it to be within next month, probably mid to end of November.
However, I'd like everybody's comments on the results presented a

Judge rules Washington lottery winners can't be anonymous
This couple did the same thing I'd have done had I won - try to pull off anonymity and hope it works. In my former communications with the lottery office, though they mentioned the open records law, they also held out that slim chance that one might be able to get a court order to prevent the release of names in some circumstances. So I'd say it was worth a shot, even if it didn't work.
Since the winners ran the money through a trust, I'd think that they would have hired an attorney to draft

Judge rules Washington lottery winners can't be anonymous
The identity of a Yakima, Washington, couple who won a $6.6 million Lotto jackpot has been revealed after a judge ruled in favor of the state lottery that winners cannot claim jackpots anonymously.
This week, nearly 10 months after a temporary injunction that sealed the identity of Michele and Michael Villegas was supposed to be lifted, the names were released.
The amount that the couple won is thought to be a local record. But in many respects, their good fortune was eclipsed by the legal

so when you say "validate" a ticket
What I'd do would depend on the state lottery I'm playing. I live right on the Oregon/Washington border. So, sometimes I get Oregon tickets, sometimes Washington tickets. I prefer Washington tickets because, unlike Oregon, they allow winners to set up a blind trust ... and have an attorney acting as trustee claim the ticket - thereby retaining anonimity for the winner. Other states like Ohio allow for the same anonimity protection via trustees. One state, Kansas, actually has an anonimity provis

My Least Favorite 4 Letter Word
Coin Toss, I don't see where Scary was saying that pick-3 or pick-4 would be a huge lottery win - just that the luck factor applies much more to games with higher odds.
Anyway, one reason I am against publishing a press release about wins less than a million is
hit a Pick 3 and call up a family member, close friend, or go into work and say you won the lottery . See what happens.
When there is a Raffle or someone wins Gas For A Year, all people see in the paper or hear on TV is Susan Joh

If you won powerball or megamillion
I think you could, even a huge one... Of course the problem is family and how you handle them, if one or two find out then the rest will probably soon enough. As long as you can keep your name out of the press release you've at the very least, limited the number of people who would find out by a huge amount. Of course living in the same area you also can't go nuts with spending either, especially if you're in a small town. I think family would at least be more managable (even if they're largly c

I changed my mind
I thought about going public if I won a jackpot. But a series of events made think otherwise recently.
I just realized that I made too many enemies. I mean, really bad enemies. If I show my face on media I would be sue by next day.
Fortunately, people remember me for my English name, which is not my legal name.
I will have to release my LEGAL NAME. And I will have to provide my SSN because I don't want to pay 30% of the winning as tax. But...
As long as I don't reveal my face an
