Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
Jimmy Isaac Asimov's article placed part of the blame for lack of science aptitude on the teachings of the bible. I blame capitalism and greed for the lack of interest in these fields. I read a article and it stated that many of the most brilliant math students were being sucked up by wall street. This alone would go a long way in describing the problem. All the power is now controlled by the banks and corporations which have sold out america and it's people. The banks and corpor

New - Curious... and there has got to be a better way...
Well I have been studying it...and it kinda seems like a version I am doing...but it is EXTREMELY METHODICAL and TEDIOUS. I honestly don't enjoy working on it as much as I do my own home grown version. I do agree with you Fitzroy 4 out of 6 might only be 1000 dollars and that's good but I don't expect that as the big win. Now 5 out of 6 on a big jackpot would be really great. I am not a paying member here yet...but there is A TREMENDOUS ARTICLE IN WIRED MAGAZINE ABOUT LOTTERY games

Does it have to be a dream?
I've read in the newspaper that last friday a poor person has won the BIG prize for the Euromillions She was really poor and ate in charity restaurants (maybe to save money to play ;) he! ) Anyhow it makes me really happy when someone get a big prize. She has won 5 millions of Euros, (about 9 000 000 dollars), this woman had been dreaming for months that she was going to win a big big prize. The only thing is that she's being playing the same numbers for 30 years now. The message

Money Matters: Sudden wealth advice
This is from an article in a local business journal. Nothing surpriszing, but some good advice. The article is about people coming ointo windfalls, and in the beginning of it he specifically mentione lottery winners. Get financial guidance from a qualified source. Florida Lottery draws same Play 4 numbers
You're not explaining this correctly because you want to prove a point which is that systems and formulas work. Read the article again. First of all, the article says the average payout is $87,000 with 281 winners. It does not say that Tuesday evening's payout was $87,000. In fact, the payout on Tuesday evening was $1.8 million. So Wednesday drawing paid less which completely contradicts your theory. If playing the pick from the previous evening is a system, it's not a good one. Go throug

Each state handle paying lottery prizes differently. This article is about the NY lottery from http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008802220379 ....the ubiquitous office pool has points that may take its members by surprise, including how the state Lottery commission pays out winnings on any size prize. For one thing, no more than 10 names can be included on the payout checks. And for another, individuals who share in a lottery pool are expected to report their winnings a
