Monopoly Millionaires's Rule posted
bobby,
I was wondering about the Club prize drawing too. I also inferred that they would draw from the pool of tickets, rather than simply generate another set of numbers....this is nice because winners are actually guaranteed unlike PB and MM (which technically have no guarantees). I understand now that this is what the developers meant that it would be a hybrid game, combining elements from draw games and scratch-off games.
The cap for me is just a peeve....little to do with how much one

Is this legal?
The article explained the numbers are drawn after the squares are filled in, yes, but you and the article are assuming an honestly run pool.
The topic is about group of people pooling money, holding a drawing, and the winner gets a book of scratch-off tickets. You're correct the article explains when the numbers are drawn, but it doesn't answer the legal question which happens to be the topic of this thread. When are going to finally figure out if Spin is planning on cheating by rigging the

Scams and Greed
I can believe it. I see similar behavior, and even worse, many times throughout my day. Everyday that I leave the house and interact with the public, it's a constant battle to NOT only look out for my own safety, but baby sit others to ensure the reduced possibility of a bad event to occur, like on the roads.
Then there's customer service from hell. Mostly the younger on a drama train or story telling with other employees. Or, having extended conversations with a customer, while a long line i

Is The Lottery A Tax On The Stupid And Mathematically Challenged?
My answer is YES, but NOT with everyone. Most people play a lot HOPING lightning will strike their head. Some like me play maybe 3 bucks a month for the same reason.
Then there's the minority, (thank goodness) who believe they will win in their lifetime. This group despite being a minority, need help, serious help. Even though they're a minority, when you realize there are 7 Billion people, and a maybe hundreds of millions playing the lottery in the hopes of winning a ticket out of the rat ra

Stabbing Dream
Lastnight I dreamt that I was out a event/function and a fight started... As everyone started running from the fight everything was just chaotic. I started running too but little did I know one of the attackers were running behind me. He had a knife in his hand and he stick me twice on my left and right side in my stomach area.
I woke up out the dream and picked up my phone to check the time and it was 5:00am and my sides were hurting. I checked my stomach but nothing was there. Pressed on i

Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
So, everyone had some time to see the posts we made.
Good, let's move on.
First, let's go over Odds and how to calculate Odds.
Don't worry; this is not going to be a mental mathematical juggernaut.
All we will be using are: add, subtract, multiply, divide and a fancy word, ratio, meaning to relate one number to another.
Odds is basically defined as the ratio of Success (S) to Failure (F).
S is the total possible outcomes or probability an event will occur and

Megamillions and Powerball Games
RL-RANDOMLOGIC and Stack47,
Well, since RL thinks he knows more than Einstein (check his earlier posts in this thread) about physics and that Evolution is mathematically impossible, and Stack believes he has a better understanding of gambling odds and payouts than Richard Arnold Epstein and Don Catlin, it would appear I'm being double teamed here by a formidable duo. I don't think so, however...
...I'm not going to waste more time addressing your postings since my last. This ground h

Couple collect lottery winnings after misplacing ticket
Right on about placing tickets in a safe place or somewhere else that is specially dedicated for lottery tickets, so they can be found without a problem.
My only reservation about keeping them in a vehicle, is that if there is a fire they could be destroyed, or if the vehicle breaks down and needs a tow, they could be picked up bysomeone other than the owner of the car or truck.
Yours Truly, removes them from the bill fold after getting home and places them in one spot on the dresser. If t

Why does the Mega Millions Jackpot not start at $40 mil?
even at $2 per ticket, I don't think Powerball makes any money if the jackpot is won at the default amount of $40 million. Which does happen sometimes and when it does they lose money. I think the people who run PB start the jackpot at $40 million and hope no one wins the base amount. If too many win the jackpot at the default amount you'd better believe they'd change the format or go out of business.
Don't quote me on this, but I read somewhere on this forum, that Powerball doesn't become pr

Lottery Pools
We don't have a written agreement in place and I hope all the members are trustworthy.
so there's no dispute about which tickets belong to the pool and which are our own tickets.
If it's okay, I'd like to discuss these two items briefly. First, I hope that the (12) years of trustworthiness will also prevail in the event of a winning ticket without an agreement in place. For the record, with the type of money involved here with winning, a signed and notarized agreement should be standa
