90-year-old wins $1 million in Fla. Lottery's Monopoly game
Perhaps your intentions are 100% pure but (1) What makes you think this woman is a member here or views this site? (2) Why would you join immediately after she wins $1,000,000? As I said, I apologize if this sounds argumentative, but I'm the person who sent Todd the news clip on Feb 2 and asked if he would review it and post it if he found it interesting. So you only noticed this press release after it was posted on a Lottery web site a week later. Again, hope I don't offend any

Sex offender wins $14 million Florida Lotto jackpot
The bottom line is that he paid his debt to society... As such, that part shouldn't have been mentioned. That is wreckless endangerment by the media. Blame society for not extracting a higher debt. In my personal opinion, anyone who attacks a child, a senior citizen, or anone in a defenseless position should not be allowed back into the general public. But I don't make the rules. 23 months should have been 23 years... or more. The child won't get their innocence back, the offender shouldn'

Contacting Professionals After You Hit A Multi-Million Dollar Prize!
Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer or financial advisor. LOL I agree with CAlotteryguy. It's very hard to keep your picture out of the paper, especially during a slow news week. Also, the form in which you claim the prize isn't just the issue here, it's the law regarding anonymity which is a state decision. Also some states allow only one individual to claim a jackpot and others allow several to be paid. So if you win in a state that will only pay one claimant and you are in a pool or simply sh

Off the wall question...(Who is able to....)
Thank you Rick G for the response, The +1,-1 on ILL is 65% with the two digits and really, thats not to bad considering. I'm hoping to move away from two digit to one (fingers crossed.) The 3,8,9 Concept is such an effective tool, but is missing that one element (which is what I'm requesting in this thread.) I feel the possibility is there, I just can't put my finger on it. If I can get this one digit pick under control an get some assist, I feel this will be one major instrutment in daily pi

Quick Pick
Every time I read a thread about QPs I remember the press release in FL when I man won a big jackpot. He said something like I've been playing the same numbers for 15 years. I had a couple of extra dollars in my pocket, so I decided to buy 2 quick picks. He won with the QP. This isn't the first time I've read such an article. As I've written in the past, I believe every large jackpot in Florida has been won with a quick pick for quite a long time and most of the MegaMoney and Fantasy5 wins

Florida Lotto
Thanks, Floridian for your confidence in me. But I really don't keep up with the politics...I just want to win! LOL I see the signs all the time that say $16 Billion to Florida Schools and FL Law requires the lottery to pay out 50% in prizes. It's pari-mutual so often the prize is more than advertised. You are correct about the payout. I've seen Lotto pay higher than 60% but it averages 54-58%. The MegaMoney, which is a 20 year annuity, usually pays more than 60% as the lump sum and I've

Mega Millions hit again!
Hmmmm.....this is getting annoying.....maybe I should turn my attention to forcing regulars winners in Powerball....maybe I might have some better fortune in having the numbers fall in my pool of numbers...instead of someone else. Upped my wager last night from $20 to $55....I did ok.....one 4 of 5 and six 3 of 5...made a profit, but not the kind of profit I want to see...if you get my drift. The problem with playing Powerball is I know too many people in DC....no way to be anonymous there....th

S.C. Lottery Stops Selling Number "666"
The South Carolina Educational Lottery has stopped selling tickets Tuesday with combiations with 666 in it. That means no more 6-6-6, 6-6-0-6, and 6-6-6-6. Tuesday is of course June 6, 2006 or 06/06/06, if you're so inclined. And apparently, a lot of people are. Lottery officials say they've reached their liability on selling the above numbers, meaning they wouldn't be able to pay out all the winners if those numbers should be drawn. The lottery says they have a $3.5 million cap on P
