I think I am warming up...
Here is the breakdown of what happened. Of the 50 set of numbers.....17 matched 3 of 5....and one matched 4 of 5. One only had the mega number. Really how close was I? One ticket that had five set of numbers......4 of the 5 set had 3 of 5 matching numbers, with the mega number as 18. In those 4 set of numbers, the 5th number was 41. The 5th set had 4of the 5 numbers only missing #18....I had #17. After screwing up that #48 stretch two weeks ago where I lost the 2nd prize because I agv

Food for thought regarding anonymity....
Quote: Originally posted by dvdiva on May 15, 2006 Some states don't even allow trusts to claim tickets. I know both Oregon and BC, Canada, don't allow trusts to claim. Washington does. Of the three only WA allows anonymous claims as well. Not sure about the UK lottery but those four places are the only places I currently play. What? Washington does allow trusts to claim and also allows one to claim anonymously? Where do you get your information? I will be jumping up and down for joy if

Lottosync - remeber these words Marco ?
Yo BobP and others. I heard from Guru on 25 April. Here in part is his message: Some people ask me how it is possible that it takes so long to make an update of lottosync. The answer is... programming this update is only a tiny tiny fraction of the work I'm doing. The real deal is figuring out how to improve results and how to incorparate new findings in the engine. (and testing them endlessly ofcourse) It has gone far beyond what I initially planned. I know that waiting so long with a release

Lottosync - remeber these words Marco ?
Quote: Originally posted by BobP on April 27, 2006 Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on April 25, 2006 Lottosync has seen it best days, time to move on to something better. Good luck. Don't tell me you're finally ready to release your personal software, otherwise what do you consider better? BobP I stand corrected, I should have said something newer. Since the last version of Lottosync, other programs have come on line making similar or better claims. I saw a promising one at powerfal

$270M Mega Millions lottery jackpot claimed anonymously
It always amazes me how the balls seem to dance around the numbers I have on my ticket.......I'll have for example 22,24,35,37,49 and we'll see 23,25,36,48,50. Is there any way that there could be a super computer somewhere calculation which numbers have been selected for the drawing by the players.....then it selects which numbers to draw that will pay out the least amount of funds. Two drawings ago I had three of the five numbers and I was within one of each of the other two numbers. I g

$270M Mega Millions lottery jackpot claimed anonymously
> With that much money you have nothing to ever fear again. Only endless begging, harrassment, moneygrubbing friends and relatives coming out of the woodwork, lawsuits brought by anyone who thinks they can get you to write a check. As an aside, did you ever hear of Patty Hearst, the Getty heir or Jack Whittaker? Did you ever read Dominick Dunne's Justice to see how money doesn't always lead to happy endings? You have nothing to fear financially, but that's not the only type of fear in t

Anonymous winner in Indiana!
The Hoosier Lottery is required by law to do many things, but the laws which govern them, whether state or federal, are viewed as mere suggestions. Reference the 06DEC05 post by Korean Redneck, in which the Hoosier Lottery tells him in an email that it's perfectly okay for his friend to send him PowerBall tickets through the mail from another state. According to Title 18 of the Federal Code, this is still illegal. The message seems to be, Once we have your money, we don't care if you go to j

Anonymous winner in Indiana!
Whoa! This blew my mind! Here is a press release from the Hoosier Lottery: A representative for the Boulon Revocable Trust claimed the $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot from the March 4 drawing. The winner elected to take the cash option worth $3.2 million. The prize was claimed March 10. The jackpot winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #6140 at 5221 S. Emerson in Indianapolis. This is the first time I have ever seen an anonymous winner in Indiana. This person not only has their

Would u try to remain anonymous?
It doesn't look as though I'd have that option. From the Rules and Regulations printed on the back of each ticket: Washington's Lottery has the right to publish the name and city of residence of the prize winner. The name and city of residence of jackpot winner(s) and second prize winner(s) will be disclosed in a news conference or news release. A prize claim form is a public record governed by Chapter 42.17 RCW. I was just thinking about this last night, wondering if in this state
