Lottery is not random it's predetermined
I've always believed that state lotteries truly want winners, especially big jackpot winners. What does rigging a draw do for the state? Are the people that run the draws going to benefit from a rigged draw? How? Are they really going to get a hold of the money and buy mansions, and sports cars? Naw... State lotteries truly want winners because it's the best kind of advertising to get more people to buy tickets. They put out a press statement that a ticket purchased in Hicktown won $100 mil

$2 million and $500,000 Powerball lottery prizes set to expire in South Dakota
If I win, can I remain anonymous? Should a lottery prize winner choose to remain anonymous when claiming the prize, the South Dakota Lottery will honor that request. It should also be noted that the Lottery will release the name of the retailer that sold the winning ticket, game name and prize amount. The winning player s personal information will never be shared for advertising or promotions unless the player opts into this on their claim form. However, if the Lottery receives an open

Buying MM or PB lottery tickets
Tucker Black The house has minmums and maximums, the maximums exist so you can't turn four successful spins in a row into $5 million. The Horseshoe in Las vegas is famous for advertising 'no limit bet's but truth be known, if the table max is $10,000 and you want to bet more you'll have to bet more as your first bet with your own money. A lot of your ideas about gambling seem to be way more theorhetical than actual. here's one rule the house always has, if it's to the advantgae of the h

Florida's Fantasy 5
Besides wanting to win a jackpot, do you REALLY want to know why people play the lottery? The various state lotteries around The USA are tremendously smarter than the lottery playing public is. And I include myself as a member of the lottery playing public. https://kortx.io/news/lottery-marketing-advertising-guide/ Click the link and read the page it takes you to. G5

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Here was my reasoning. If they advertise $794M, they get less excitement/sales than if they advertise $800. And the additional excitement alone brings the additional ca. $10M of sales that generated the $3M cash/$6M annuitized additional roll that bring you to $800M. Advertising less than $800M would have been a self-inflicted missed opportunity.

Mega Millions constant $10 million increases
I was curious about this today so posed a question on Google. The site I was led to (but can't find again) said that Mega Millions promised no steady increases of any set amount but yet it seems lately that $10 millioin is a given. False advertising?

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I think the issue that SoCola is raising is not with the players that win, whether they feel the money is enough or now. I think the issue is that MM put forth a narrative of bigger jackpots in their advertising during the months before the change in price - well, maybe it's too early. We will wait and see.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Powerball to Mega millions Catch me if you can There is a clean 100M difference on the two advertised jackpots, lets see what MM is made of, if it can catch up to PB if no one wins PB in the race. For MM to be won at the 300M mark, not sure about the bigger jackpots advertising - maybe it's too early. Onward we go.

Answer Me This...
One more 'one more thing'...... I firmly believe that The Florida Lottery knew well in advance of implementing the midday drawing that ticket sales would go down. By how much they'd go down was probably the only question they had on their minds. They also were very likely aware (probably advised by an advertising/marketing firm) that tampering with something that works very well could have very negative consequences in terms of ticket sales. (Like happened to Coca-Cola when they changed

Mississippi Lottery halts Cash 3 triple payout promotion one week in
Did they ever disclose a cap when advertising the promotion? I have only read what was on LP so I do not really know. Or, are they just using the it drained the funds intended to pay out the prizes as a cover their assets maneuver? If there was a cap in place from the beginning I would think the lottery people would be letting all of the disgruntled lottery players know and point out where that fact could be found. I am not a conspiracy theorist, do not claim lotteries cheat, nor do
