Oklahoma Lottery hires sales director from Atlanta
The Oklahoma Lottery Commission hired three administrators Wednesday, one of them from Atlanta, to help new executive director James R. Scroggins get the state's education lottery up and running by October.Each of the new administrators personally was recruited for their jobs by Scroggins and will be paid $110,000 a year, he said. Oklahoma Lottery Commission Seeking Executive Director

Interim Minnesota lottery director cites progress
After about a month on the job, Michael Vekich says hes making progress in reforming the way the Minnesota State Lottery operates.Vekich told lawmakers on Tuesday that lottery officials have addressed nearly 70 percent of the state Legislative Auditors 49 recommendations in a report that was released last month.We have accomplished a lot, said Vekich, who was appointed by Gov. Arkansas Lottery to begin director search
The Arkansas Lottery Commission voted Monday to begin its search for a new director in December, but the panel left unanswered how quickly it hoped to fill the vacancy left by former director Ernie Passailaigue.
The commission voted to begin advertising for the director job on Dec. 1 and to begin reviewing applications at its Jan. 9 meeting. The panel set a priority deadline of Jan. 4, but it said it would continue to accept applications after that date.

North Dakota's lottery now has a permanent director, as Chuck Keller was hired for the job Wednesday.Keller has been the interim director of the state lottery office.
