Virginia woman wins $150,000 Powerball lottery prize using ChatGPT, donates entire prize
It gives me numbers. You have to set the parameters with specific tiered criteria. The numbers when I tried it were not great. I do better picking my own numbers with my own system.. When chatgpt tells you no, say please provide the random powerball numbers per my criteria. It will then provide numbers and say it is for entertainment purposes only. But you need to specify criteria first.

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
True. I learned a number of new psychology disorders here that were definitely not covered in my college abnormal psych class. I guess they have little to nothing going on in their lives and I predict they will respond and blame other lp members for their insanity. But...but...you....lol. The lottery is for entertainment purposes only.

because in lotteries the more you study, the more difficult it becomes to predict the next draw
There is not the need to study the data as much IF you learn to write proper back tests for whatever systems you work with. At the very least, any system would need to be profitable OVER TIME... and I have yet to back test a system that was, even on the pick 3. I even ran a back test once on a raspberry pi that back tested every single replacement strategy. It ran through 10 billion iterations and took days... the result was a replacement list that exactly matched the most frequent follower for

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
So we can see where the confusion comes from... original post is about odds, but title says probability... Probability of buying N tickets for X possible combinations is ALWAYS N in X or N out of X. in probability X is the possible combos and cannot be reduced, your probability with 2 tickets of a pick 2 is ALWAYS 2 in 100, buy 5 tickets, it is 5 out of 100. The Odds are different, you can express those as (N-X) to (N), such as pick 2 with one ticket being 99 to 1 odds, with 5 tickets yo

People think gambling is risky.
For me, gambling is a source of entertainment. Or maybe it's a diversion. To be honest, I really don't know what it is or why I gamble. I never think about value when I buy a lottery ticket. That's because I know playing the lottery is a suckers bet. It hard for me to think about value because the odds are so badly stacked against me, and they're same regardless of the size of the jackpot. (As is the price of one line on a ticket whether it's 1, 2, 3 or 5 dollars) I never bet over my he

Do you care about hitting box on pick 3?
For many years, my goal has been picking one straight combo. I had considered that a box hit meant I was still wrong with the attempt. These days, instead of spending that $1 on a straight shot, I go 0.50/0.50 because boxes do happen more frequently than straight hits. I agree that it is not exciting, but when I limit my budget to $14 a week (Pick 3 mid day and evening), that $40 (or $80) leads to a few weeks on the house. I have taken many breaks (years at a time in some cases) and alwa

You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
For me the entertainment value of playing the lottery is that I may win some serious cash or not win. My focus is on the prize as such I don't focus on the input, aka, my money for buying the ticket, as a loss. When one goes to watch their favorite NFL or NBA or whatever sports team play, the outcome is mostly a win for one of the playing teams. If your team does not win, I don't think anyone says that they lost the money that they paid for the entrance ticket. My thoughts.

Lottery Post for the Hobbyist and Serious Lottery Player
The way I play clearly places me in the Hobbyist lane. One combo at a time. Win or (mostly) lose. Most of what I have learned over the years tends to support Tucker's evaluation, but I still keep trying because with a sensible budget it IS entertainment. Not to mention the volumes learned about programming and spreadsheets along the way. Still here Still trying Still coding...

New play methodology
You gave me a good laugh and for a long time. First, you begged for WOM results and then, when results did not match your expectations you went into a paranoia outburst: everything is wrong, false and does not count. Your arguments are so dumb that every time I recall them I have an outburst too: of hard to control laughing. Again, you put yourself into a corner and now playing dumb is your only way out - because you don't have any other arguments. It seems that it escapes your comprehen
