A computer glitch caused a delay in the live TV broadcast of a Powerball drawing on July 2, 2008. This occurred around the same time that Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Trust claimed an $85 million Powerball win from a ticket purchased in Oklahoma, sparking suspicions of fraud, according to Grok on X. While the timing and secrecy fueled speculation, no direct evidence of rigging or fraud has been found to date.
The Powerball drawing was eventually held, revealing a single winning ticket sold in Al

MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
Hi all lottery gurus,
We ran into a weird situation yesterday and I'd love to get your take on it, please.
We run an office pool when jackpot hits 1BN, and this drawing is one of those we normally play. Our pool reaches $700-800 most of the time and we usually buy ~$100-150 in tickets at multiple stores. Yesterday, my friend came to one of the stores and first went to a self-service machine. She bought $100 worth of tickets - twenty $3 entries and twenty $2 entries. They got printed out

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
There is no maybe about it. They have advertised that there will be (10) 1 million dollar prizes, even if only one ticket is sold. If they renege on paying out (10) 1 million dollar prizes, it is false advertising at best, and fraud at worst.

Arizona lottery retailer employee sued after buying $12.8 million ticket knowing it was a winner
It seems most people here misunderstood the news. Circle K store manager Robert Gawlitza committed fraud. He knew beforehand the ticked he purchased had won the jackpot. That's the reason why he bought it. He is entitled to nothing. The owner of the ticket is whoever usually takes the loss for the rejects.

I'm done playing the lottery
His continued hysterical over reaction to this topic tells us all we need to know about mental illness.
My guess is that he has a long list of bounced checks and other fraud charges.
Psych wise, he also resents the man and hard working, responsible and decent citizens. Thankfully he is not representative of the majority of LP members.
He wants to Make Fraud Great Again!!! Just someone on the far fringes of decent society looking to grift. A perpetual ne'er do well. And he will play

Florida bill would enhance criminal penalties for lottery retailer theft and fraud
Bill targets retailers and employees who steal tickets from the workplace
By Kate Northrop
A Florida Senator filed a bill on Monday that would enact harsher penalties on lottery retailer employees who conduct ticket theft schemes and would crack down on those who falsify prize claims.
Florida Senator Corey Simon proposed a bill that tightens up Florida Lottery security measures and targets individuals attempting to steal tickets from their workplace or make false prize claims.

So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
none of the ever changing and ever multiplying components of your story amount to fraud. just a really convoluted tale of somebody taking way to many steps to purchase a lottery ticket. it only takes about one minute and two braincells to buy a quick pick.

Idaho Lottery alerts retailers to possible bulk buying attempt over $877,800 Idaho Cash jackpot
But that did not involve fraud. Lotteries can discontinue games. Good for them exploiting a legal loophole.
