I think the economy has a lot to do with it. I didn t start playing til about a year ago. After a very long unemployment, going through all my savings and cashing out my 401K, and now working for 1/3 of what I used to make, winning the lottery gives me some hope that I may recover some of what I ve lost, and possibly get even more. BTW, I m from Poland Polish dancers are pretty neat, and each region has it s own regional costume LOL

That's kind of surprising to me also, Tenaj. Never thought the percentage would be that high. And btw, I've always wanted to see Pole Dancers and after I win the big one I just might go to Poland and see some.

Don't put yourself down for being Polish tiggs. There's nothing to be ashamed of. Although I met an old German Infantryman and I asked him how they took Poland without firing a shot and he said they just marched in backwards and said they were leaving.

I don't live in Poland, but I have a friend who lives there and tells me that they have the worst lottery in the world. He said that they hold a million dollar lottery every week, and the payout is one dollar a year for a million years. I have to agree with him. It is the worst.

If this person was supposed to be on the list of winners and came back from vacation only to find out his co-workers had claimed the prize, split and spent it without him could upset him.

Mexico taxes lottery winnings? If so I'm surprised it hasn't come up, since Mexico borders the US. Somebody should do a thread on what countries tax lottery winnings. I know the US and Jamaica do. I recently saw that Poland used to but was pressured by the EU to stop (possibly as a condition to eventually join Euro Millions?)
