Arizona Lottery bans Fast Play bulk ticket purchases
Dude what are you talking about? Apparently you don't know what a Fast Play ticket is. Fast Play tickets print out of the lottery terminal or a lottery vending machine. YOU instantly know if you have won or not by looking at the ticket or scanning it. There are NO waiting until the numbers are drawn. Arizona feels that there is a problem with some people trying to buy up all the Fast Play tickets in the Progressive games, which are jackpots that continually grow until someone wins. In my area of

California Mega Millions lottery ticket splitting $395 million jackpot will expire in one day
Yeah I agree with all the theories mentioned ... how about this thought: the other day I purchased 4 single tickets for mega millions and got 3 back ...... I counted 3 at the cashier counter and told the cashier ...... he found the missing ticket jammed in the lotto machine ..... it ripped when he took it out . .. he offered to get me a replacement ...... I told him yes and he should keep the turn ticket for himself. .. the next guy in line said that torn tivket might be lucky .... the cashier s

is it luckier to buy tickets on the rich side of town?
Brock Lee, This one might make people 'luckier', not blocking others from getting to a lottery machine because you put money in it and are using the front of the machine to scratch the instant ticket you bought.

Cash4life is coming to an end in two days. Truly the end of an era.
Apparently they are continuing to update the databases for both the p3 and p4 . They are posting on the NM website and charging for tickets the machine won't print. If a clerk is unaware then the slip is fed in t h e machine and charges for a ticket the the system won't print.

Illinois lottery player has surprise run-in with grandma at the store, wins $1 million in Powerball
Nice win but I hardly think running into your grandmother in a convenience store when she obviously lives in the area can be considered a good luck charm and the reason he won. Unless it was a quick pic. Then the time he took to chat with her enabled the lottery machine to circulate it's tumblers at the right time to give him the winning ticket.

Three $1 million winning Powerball lottery tickets sold at the same New York store
I'm sure the lottery already looked at the stores security cameras along with ticket print times to know if it was only one person or not. Not sure if New York has vending lotto machines, but I had a issue once with a Michigan Lottery vending machine and customer support looked up the transaction from the last 4 digits of my debit card. The Lottery knows but there not going to give that info out for security reasons.

Lottery vending machine
Never encountered this before, put dollar bills in for ticket cost, machine gobbled up the play slip. This machine has gobbled up currency before but a play slip? So I just hit the button for a QP for the same game, first two numbers were the same as those on the play slip.

Thief steals $27,000 worth of Pennsylvania Lottery tickets from gas station
The barcode on the back of the ticket is there just to tell the cash register what this is and how much it costs. The vending machine doesn't do that because it already knows what you're buying and how much it costs. The same is true for vending machines that sell anything else. When you buy a Coke from a vending machine, it doesn't scan the barcode.

Thief steals $27,000 worth of Pennsylvania Lottery tickets from gas station
Though it has been years since I purchased a scratch ticket, cashier would flip it over and scan the barcode on the back. Like I said a few weeks ago watched the Manager load the self service machine. She scanned one barcode to activate the whole package. Mistakenly before that thought the machine activated them @ purchase.
