Since the Powerball jackpot was just won, again it is highly unlikely it will catch up to the Mega Millions jackpot. I'm fairly sure PB can catch up, but it will take a long time. The last time they each got past a $900 million annuity PB took just over 3 months (9/8 to 12/10) to reach 930. MM (with 2/3 as many drawings per week) took 4 1/2 months (7/1 to 11/14) to reach 980.
