Mega Millions constant $10 million increases
I was curious about this today so posed a question on Google. The site I was led to (but can't find again) said that Mega Millions promised no steady increases of any set amount but yet it seems lately that $10 millioin is a given. False advertising?

Mega Millions prizes updated on Predictions Board
Just a heads-up that the Predictions Board for Mega Millions has been updated, both for the new price point ($5), as well as for the simulated payouts awarded. Because the average random multiplier printed on tickets is 3x, I have set the predictions payouts to a 3x multiplier. So matching just the Mega Ball in a prediction will award $15, a 1 + 1 match will award $21, and so on. Please let me know if you see any discrepancies after the system processes the payouts Tuesday night. Thanks!

Mega Millions: $5 for previous $2 draw rollover is unfair!
Why am I being asked to pay $5 for a Mega Millions ticket that merely rolls over from the previous $2 draw? This practice is unjustifiable. Mega Millions - Birthday Numbers Won Big
The Tuesday MM drawing was a big win to people that play birthday dates. Winning numbers 1-6-10-23-27 (18) are definitely birthday related. I always add the Megaplier, see what it did to one of the winners. New Mega Millions Game $5 per ticket in 2025
I just saw that a new Mega Millions Game is coming in 2025 in which the ticket will cost $5 and the starting jackpot will be $50M... What happened to them putting the current Mega Millions and Powerball BACK to the starting amount of $40M? Isn't that the reason why they increased the ticket prices to $2 dollars on each game?
