MyComputer got Hacked!!
Pac, looks like you already got some good advice, but do you run Hijack this? It will tell you exactly what's running when you open your browser, but I wouldn't delete anything without checking with someone first. BTW, there is a Yahoo board that is very helpful called CHAD. (computer help and discussion) Lots of techs who get bored at work give free advice. I once sent the hijack log to the moderator and he sent me a private email telling me exactly what to do and my trojan was removed. I had

why play the pick 4?
sorry but I live paycheck to paycheck. $5000 and up is alot of money to me. Maybe when that NBA contract comes, I sign a 4 major picture deal, I take over at Microsoft or something similar then I'll play the $200 million dollar jackpots but until then that occassional $900 win or chance at $5000 helps me more than dreaming for pie in the sky dreams

Making my own program - how easy?
Visual Basic .NET is a fantastic compiled language, and because of Microsoft's new CLR (Common Language Runtime), VB now runs as fast as a C# program. While it may not be quite as fast as a highly-optimized C++ executable, VB programs will now run as fast (or faster than) most compiled languages. Microsoft has done a wonderful job with .NET languages.

Keno software
The database that came with the program is about 3mbs, when I try to open it in Access it gives me the message that it's an unrecognized data format. I've got Microsoft Access 97, do I need a later version?

Have you ever purchased a lottery system?

Need help with computer
I don't think the freeware I've had does the job as equally to a purchased one. Once I ordered spydoctor, it saw things that ad-aware and microsoft anti-spyware didn't see. Also trend-micro didn't see either.Error doctor served a whole different purpose, and with a lengthy search on the net, couldn't find any free stuff for the errors in my system.

PacOK...the DOX link in the Ask Leo page provides detailed instructions including the registry edit. If you are careful, you should be able to handle the registry. If you would feel safer, backup the registry first.256986 - Description of MS Windows Registryhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=256986No, you never have to buy anything at Ask Leo - those are ads - his advice is free.
