It looks as if the $5.00 MM ticket is doing poorly.
People who play littery games play for fun, for recreationn, and to hopefully make as big score. THEY DO NOT PLAY to lean lessons in accounting. You're the one posting drivel, not me. Hater huh? Aren't you just woke and pc. I'm wondering if you do play any lottery games at all since you seem obsessed with things lie a 5.3 cents factor. Try using some original thought instead of posts convoncing peole that the odds and prpobabillities of people wining are so out of reach that they

Maryland man uses intuition with license plate numbers and wins $100,000 in Pick 5
Winner has a personal rule for playing certain lottery numbers By Kate Northrop A Maryland man stuck to a personal method of selecting lottery numbers for a Pick 5 drawing derived using license plates and won $100,000 in a single Pick 5 drawing. One Maryland lottery player took inspiration from his environment and doubled down on his chosen Pick 5 numbers, earning himself $100,000 in the process. Days before Christmas, the anonymous Prince George County resident said he kept seei

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Wishing you luck on the draw. The $20 price is steep for me, lol, but given the $1M prize and the 1:100,000 odds, I think it's a risk worth taking. I would have taken that risk if I was in Florida. $630,000 after taxes is a decent win.

I agree with your second paragraph. The first one still has an error: Two 1 in 146,100,669 chances 2*1/146100669 is 1 in 97,400,446. This is incorrect for 2 tickets (it is correct for 4 tickets). Each ticket has a 1 in 292,201,338 chance of winning, the same as a single ticket. But when you have 2 of them, your overall odds of winning with the two tickets is 2 in 292,201,338.

Ahhh, the difference in terminology... Odds on the die roll, betting 3 for all even numbers has 3 favorable outcomes and 3 unfavorable ones, so a $3 bet on the even numbers is 3:3, which CAN be reduced to 1:1 or a 50/50 even money wager. Probability is the favorable outcomes to possible outcomes, where the possible outcomes cannot be reduced. Same bet on the even faces of the die 3:6

Two different combos each have a one in 292,201,338 chance Of course. Combo A has one chance out of every 146,100,669 chances and combo B has one chance out of the other 146,100,669 chances. Two 1 in 146,100,669 chances equals It's 2 divided by 292 million That's a 0.000000006844595626047407% chance of winning the jackpot and not exactly the easiest way to prove your point unless the inverse is shown too. And that is 146,100,669. Like I said before, it's how the odds are expressed.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Sure, it's a lot of money, but the odds and the ticket cost make it a lousy bet even by lottery standards. Tomorrow a $5 ticket will get you chance at $438 million (or, more realistically, the $111 to $128 million after paying income tax on the cash), but for only $2 you can have about the same chance at $190 million (about $49 to 56 million after taxes on the cash). It's only about 44% as much money, but the chance at it only costs 40% as much and it's still more than you have now and enough to
