Yes total points in the Basketball pool like a football pool . We had 8 and 5 as our numbers in the pool . First quarter ended with our numbers . It was total points each quarter the reverse on each and the big whammola the end pay off . I'm glad we got the quarter .

Many players are spending more than $100/month on lottery tickets and I suspect some of them are in your pool. Don't be surprised if it happen to one of your pool members who brought some tickets on his own. Just don't expect him to share his winnings with other pool members.

Joys of running a lottery pool
I originally distributed the small winnings, but everyone wanted me to buy more tickets, so I started doing that. I've had a few members leave the pool, which did cause me some problems. I had rolled winnings back in from previous drawings that former members participated in, so those former members still had a stake in the pool, even if it was a smaller stake than those still paying in every payday. It took a round of winning no money to finally get them out of the pool.
