Tried my first lottery ticket machine today!
The machine went dark and the malfunction message was on the screen showing the credits. The clerk offered to sell me scratch-offs but wouldn't give me credit from the vending machine and run my Keno play slips through the regular terminal. If they won't pay me, I'll get MM tickets with the credits when I see the manager on Tuesday.

Tried my first lottery ticket machine today!
The vending machines in KY accept any play slips including 4 minute Keno, but today I learned the hard way that some stores won't repay for malfunctions on the spot. The clerk said they didn't have the authority to open the machine and the machine did the same thing yesterday. I didn't need to ask why they didn't put a sign on the machine yesterday. Unless I know for a fact I can get my money back after a malfunction, I won't be using those machines any more.

$348 MILLION: April misses bring May riches
I won $3 last night on Lotto, which I've put into an additional Powerball ticket. This morning I went to my normal place to cash it and get tickets, but their machine was down, so I went to another place and their's was working. I got my winning Lotto at a place I don't normally buy them(vending machine in a supermarket), so who knows what will happen this time?

Faulty $50 Wisonsin lottery ticket causing a flap
I saw almost the same thing happen on Monday when a vending machine cut off the bottom of a ticket, but that person didn't scratch the ticket. The clerk refunded the money, opened the machine and corrected the problem. Not everyone notices the bar codes on the bottom of the ticket, but payoffs are based on them. Without a bar code the lottery can't pay though they should know if the $50 was paid.

The PA Lottery Ripped Me Off Again ... Part 2
I would think the same thing were it not for the fact that in New York, I have seen three different types of machines! Some are big, they look like a soda vending machine, but I've also seen one that's the size of an ATM. I guess it depends upon how much floor space is available in a store. In the gas station near me that has one, it's the ATM sized machine. My guess is that's because in that particular store, they just don't have the floor space required for one of the big ones.

Self Service Machines vs Retailers
OMG, I was in Newburgh NY last weekend and played on their vending machine. You can check your ticket and it will take your winners as credits to allow you to play more. I just wish the next gen will add an ATM feature to allow the machine to make change so you can cash out your ticket or play a fraction of your winners and cash out the rest. But, I was blown away with their machines and hopeful the next gen will be more user friendly.

Hmmm...time to make a story out of nonsensical words. I think he/she is saying My money got stuck in the lottery vending machine and I cannot break open this machine since it is welded! Am I really this stupid? I wish I had not been born. I had hoped to buy a LG Optimus phone to my collection and then spend, spend spend. This is too difficult. Will you help me?

Playing every ticket from a machine.
Tried a 3rd time on vending machine challenge. Found a tiny 16 bin machine with couple slots empty, old games and not maintained well, didn't expect much. Spent $49 and got back $40 . . . meh

Post your scratch ticket results
Haha I agree once you see 1 poacher you will think the same guy is in every store they do all look the same. They are often unkempt and very anxious. You know you are being watched when you see one standing in the aisle next to the vending machine for 1 hour straight looking at toilet paper and constantly walking back and forth to the machine with all eyes on you. Just dont discard your losers near the machine cause this is when the guy who looks like he is on welfare swoops in with a 1 inch thi

More Instant than Instant Win
Just the other Day. I put $20 into a scratchoff ticket vending machine and noticed that the credit displayed was $25, somebody had put a five in and left effectively giving me an instant $5 win albeit only redeemable for more tickets. I put in another $1 to make $26 so that I could buy one $20 Blockbuster and two $3 Match and Win tickets. One of the Match Wins won $4 so I guess that was my payout from that $5 left in the machine. I'm sure I've probably done the same, left credits for someone els
