Can we all be civil and lets talk about good fortune here?
Good fortune is playing a double pick-4 combo multiple $1 tickets and finding out it won. What we have here are people who apparently never experienced good fortune so they create some BS about the U.S. tax codes.
I think your times should be well spent doing something esle rather than having a verbal fight that has no point.
At least this topic applies to lottery games. Some people believe the IRS might be monitoring this s

Can you make pick 4 money playing pick 3
The most I have won at one time on pick 3 is $500. That is the top prize in Florida for a $1.00 straight.
The few times I plunged and bought multiple pick 3 straight tickets on the same number I lost.
I made a miniscule profit on pick 3 straight with a single win in November. I also managed to beat the odds with 5 front pairs last month, but I am glad I didn't play them because the Florida 50% takeout would have resulted in giving me a net loss. For me, box and straight/box plays res

How many of you are Keno players and how much you have won..
I Won $5K Way Back In '98. Had 9 Of 10. The 10 Spot Would Have Paid $250K
I've Won $200-$100-$50-$25 Multiple Times.
For Some Strange Reason I Switched To Playing Pick 3 4
I've Been Meaning To Get Back Into It.
Thanks For The Reminder

Mega Millions multi-state lottery to get harder to win in Oct.
I've been cruising the site for a while and finally decided to join the conversation. This last week was great not just because the pot was big but BECAUSE only one person won. This decision to up the odds is something i have been thinking about for years and totally agree with. The only queston is what took them so long? This lottery is a fantasy for players. We daydream about winning it all by ourselves, winning the largest jackpot, and appearing at the press conference. Thats why the jackpot

Sorry to hear you bought a cold roll, OSH
I have scaled back a lot but I decided to splurge yesterday. bought 15 $20 FF instead of an entire roll and an entire roll of Red 7s. FF did well got a $200, $100 $50 $25 and $20. I have won $200 over 10 times already but no $500 yet.....
Got $215 back on Red 7s. Highest was $50. Surprisingly I profited $10 from the experiment
I have been on a cold streak with rolls. Where as when I first started buying rolls I was finding multiple $100s - $500s

Six $1M Powerball tickets claimed by one Arizona winner
hmm... didnt realize AZ allow anonymous collections. 6 tickets... 2$ per ticket = 12$... if they had purchased 4 tickets w/ PP it still would have cost 12$ but they would have had 8M$ instead of 6M$.
Nice catch!
Didn't know that any state allow secondary prizes to be cashed anonymously and if he had a plan to collect multiple times, it wasn't thought out very well. Now that PB is a $2 ticket, using Powerplay doesn't double the price and all the secondary prizes are at the least doubled.

Choosing How Much Money To (Try And) Win...
There's a couple different kinds of occasional players. There's the type that aren't in the habit of playing the lottery like we are, so it doesn't occur to them to go out and buy a ticket unless a record is being approached and the hype machine kicks in. Either that or they just happen to be at the gas station or the grocery store or wherever, they see the lottery terminal flashing the current jackpots, and they decide to throw down a couple of dollars. It's not that people would turn down a sm

What was the total $$ back from the $250K book ?
The Book had a total of Approx $2400. Had the $2k Win , 1 $100 and the rest below $50. The thing is that the winner was at ticket 049 - The first half of the roll Returned only $140. The second half was smoking Hot. Sometimes I think its best to Just buy half the rolls. I have noticed that sometimes the first half has duds and the second half has the prizes or vice versa. believe it or not that was the first book I ever bought. I had a Good Mon

I just dont understand!?!?!
Well I will say it does amuse me when people say they only play when the jackpot is over a certain amount. But then again, we do live in America and everyone has the right to or not to play the lottery, and the freedom to play it as they wish. Most people will never hit the jackpot. A fortunate few will and even fewer will be so lucky as to hit multiple times. I like to think that I am one of the future fortunate few that will hit and possibly even again (and again). So my strategy is to give my

The biggest mistake people make is:
He didn't say that birthday combinations generally have more than one winner. He said they have a greater chance of having multiple winners.
You've got a list of 17 drawings with only birthday numbers, and 6 had jackpot winners. For that sample drawings with only birthday numbers were won 35% of the time. What percentage of drawings that include numbers greater than 31 have a jackpot winner?
Your data also shows that 1 out of 6 drawings with at least 1 winner had a 2nd winner. That's 16.67
