How much do you spend on the lottery each month?
I am part of an employee pool at work and I was spending $2 a week ($4 if the first set of tickets didn't win) with the other 38 or so employees. So minimum I was paying $8 a month, maximum $16 Now after the $207 million Piqua employee fiasco, we have gone to a contract that requires $20 a month up front or you are excluded for the entire month. I wrote the contract and had it validated by our courts prosecutor and then any contract that is signed by a willing pool player is nota

Powerball
Note: second time low frequency numbers prevailed in this game (measured from last 295 draws). maybe (and I am learning this game, although situation is very similar with NY P6) with large pool (59 numbers) there is a valid reason to bias slightly numbers that occured less often in the past. (although two anomalies exists number 57 58 that has not come up in 1180 draws!) Situation with power ball might be different as ie stats shows number 39 has not come up in the last 1180 draws! (only one

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
When you're only playing 20 lines, it's better to have 3 winning numbers in a pool of 21 than it is to have all 5 winning numbers in a pool of 45. I am beginning to see how that is definitely true. When we started off with this thread I was picking a much smaller group of numbers than I use now. The hits were less frequent, but better. It seems like with 45 numbers the hits are never suprisingly accurate even with all 5 numbers in your group. The key is definitely to collect all of the balls

DNA Method - Pick 5
It works well, but then wheeling comes in which can break the numbers in multiple lines, we need it all 5 on the same lines to win. This method is about getting close to having 5 winning numbers in a pool of 12. Full wheel of 12 numbers, 5 per line will total 792. So one would have to filter 792 lines to fit on a budget. To your concern about getting in some winning numbers in a pool of 12, this method have a good chance at it, which will help you getting better results in the Maddog's PB MM

Lottery clubs
$10 invested to win $105,000 is not good in lottery terms! If you invest (hate using that word when talking about the lottery) $10 in Cash 5 in Texas, you'll have a better shot at winning, and even if the Cash 5 top prize is $50,000, you'll win $500,000 ($350,000 with taxes coming out), as opposed to winning $105,000 in that pool. Again, a pool is fine from a social aspect -- it can be fun to play with a team of people you know -- but not from a risk/reward perspective. (Which is a much be

Lottery Pool/Club
Not many people have that much money in the volume needed to cover the draws. That is the purpose of a pool. I agree there are smaller startegies that help but your odds of winning area much lower than a large pool. I also real the statistic of quick picks vs systems is arounf 50/50. Of course, you could always do both and play solo and with a group. I think the odds of winning would be exponetial. Tom Dempsey

rjoh , stew12 , fja ...ect It would be helpful to see your initial number pool --which you pulled the sets of five from. I'm trying to see/comprehend the methods used in the first pool. thank you

How much an attorney charge to claim lottery prize $25 Mil?
A lawyer gives you the benefit of objectivity, specialized knowledge, as well as simply doing the grunt work. The charge for the grunt work is probably even more overpriced than what your mechanic charges for a 99 cent sparkplug. The value of the knowledge depends on what you know (or can learn), and the cost of a mistake. In general a lawyer can't do anything you can't do yourself, but most people don't know how to do most of the things lawyers do, or at least won't do it as well. Sometimes tha

Lotto Syndicates
Many pools have one lottery jackpots. Some groups who have played together for many years have won. I'm hoping the pool I run, which started with just me and a person I shared my office with, and grew to include 10 people, will be among those winners. We keep buying Powerball and Lotto tickets hoping for the big win. All money won in our pool benefits the members in some way, usually by buying more tickets. I offer to distribute the money back, but they want more tickets instead so that is what

Piqua lottery winners sued by co-workers
I agree with you, Barista, an agreement should be signed by each contributor every single time they play. I used to be in charge of a small lottery pool (4 people) at my old job. I used to make copies of the tickets purchased and a copy of the signed agreement every single time, and gave each one a copy of those. The actual tickets were securely locked up until after the draw. If there was a win, no matter how small it was, it was never rolled over into the next game. It was always evenly distri
