Is there a "Lottery Ego?"
My signature is what happens most is most likely to happen again and that is the idea behind my system. Obviously my system doesn't look at winning numbers as a group because groups of winning numbers seldom appear together more than once during the life of the game even when the number pool is quite small as with West Virgina Cash25 (6/25) with only 177K possible combinations. Groups of numbers do however share characteristics more than not many times and it's those shared characteristics o

Why I think quick picks suck
Thanks for your input KY Floyd. Statistically trackable is certainly NOT an illusion. You are absolutely right that every draw is specific numbers. What I mean is that over the long run , you will tend to see balance. I'm not coming up with any kind of weird science here. Texas Two Step drawings are 4 balls from a pool of 35 plus one bonus ball from another pool of 35. A HUGE majority of the 741 total drawings for that game have either 2 odd/2 even, 3 odd/1 even, 1 odd/3 even. 90% of the 741 dra

Man quits lottery pool, then wins with Quick Pick
Funny you should mention this! I just sent an email to a friend about last night's jackpot. Some people used self-picks and some bought QPs. I'd be happy with any win, but imagine your 5 numbers finally come up after 10 years and 7 other people win. Sunday nobody won at all and the jackpot was about $214K. I thought Now tonight is the night I wish I hit it! The only thing I don't like about this news article is that the man sounds mean. I wonder why he keeps mentioning the people in his offi

he sounds unstable, i wouldnt deal at all with him. just buy your own tickets. it upto you if yiu want to play same numbers. also dicate with him, form sounds he inviotes every man and his dog in, you prob dont even knwo how many ar ein the pool. just steer clear, and buy your own tickets. remeber its bearer pays ticket ie who hands it in collects. my personal choice would be stay out of what looks like if the best happens you can hopew for a long drawn out court battle with everyone

Women win $276M lottery jackpot - and report back to work
I still would have waited until I had all of my ducks in a row before I claimed the ticket and went public. But with that many winners in the pool I guess the majority would rule.If most of them wanted the money now,I guess you would have to go along with them.Unless you happened to be the one holding the ticket. Thats one of the reasons that I would never join a pool.

Tax office workers win Powerball lottery jackpot
There's always a chance of winning a lawsuit, no matter how frivolous it might seem, especially to those who get their information from a brief news report. Some of the people speculating about the possibility of lawsuit in this case must have read a different article than the one I read, because the one I read doesn't offer any useful information on whether such a case would be frivolous or not. Based on this article, there was no statement by anyone suggesting (much less a spokeperson acknowle

Tax office workers win Powerball lottery jackpot
Famico said employees of the office had a regular Powerball pool, but only eight of the 11 women were in it last week. I'm assuming this means there were drawings when all 11 were in the pool and when the spokesman said we will give them some of the money , a lawsuit is very likely. They have an office with 11 women, 8 of the women get $17 million and the 3 women are dependant on the generosity of the other 8. Do the women in the Sheriff's tax office carry guns?

Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
I should be, but I am not. Unfortunately, I am not playing just my numbers for the office pool. Our signed agreement gives me control over how funds are dispursed. I am not too worried about $10,000. It is not much money. I would just claim the money, pay the taxes(I would figure out my real tax cost), and then give the group their percentage under the table . $200,000 would be a much bigger pain in the butt, because it is a large enough sum that just handing them the cash under the table
