Biggest U.S Jackpots winners: Do you know them?
No.1 was won by a factory pool. No.2 was won by two people, one in Michigan and one in Illinois. You can do a search if you really want to know. I still see stories about swimming pool contractor in Michigan and also about the contractor Jack Whittaker that won the PB jackpot.

Lotteries long for 'jackpot fever'
Why is it so hard for some people to understand that halving the odds while doubling the price of a ticket doesn't actually change anything? If you're willing to pay $2 for a ticket if the odds are half of what they are now, you don't need the lottery to change the game.Just buy 2 $1 tickets and you'll get exactly the same results. Average jackpots are a function of the odds and how much money goes into the prize pool for each ticket sold. If the odds of winning are 1 in 100 million, the

the proven lotto system
I'm working on a similar way to pick megaballs, but so far I've only hit 75% of the time if I picked half the pool. Even when I've reduced the pool to ten and had the winning ball in the group, I wasn't able to combine it with a match3, it hurts to have a match3 and the megaball in ten lines and not have them together ($9 instead of $150). Ohio pick3 is not any easier than any other state pick3 game, it just that there are several LP members in Ohio that have developed a pretty good system

the proven lotto system
Most lottery players even those who are losing don't want to wait 90 draws for a win even in a daily game. I don't play the pick3 or pick4 games but with the pick5 and jackpot games, I've been trying to develop a dynamic system that adjust with the most recent trends by having variables that are not only stabilized by the game long history but are also affected by its most recent history too. All trends come and go and and many repeat and it's those that I track and calculate the chanc

Company proposes new pooling lottery ticket to fight 'jackpot fatigue'
There's no such thing as something for nothing. The states now take 50% of sales for themselves leaving 50% to be split among the players who match 3 or more numbers. Now that Relationship Marketing Systems wants a piece of the pie, which 50% are they going to share? Ohio tried that marketing strategy with Lot'O Play and it didn't work. They got rid of SuperLottoPlus that offered one chance to lose for $1 and replaced it with Lot'O Play with twelve chances to lose for $2. Since the amount

Company proposes new pooling lottery ticket to fight 'jackpot fatigue'
RMS has branded their pooling ticket PoolingPLUS(TM) because it is a combination ticket that includes both traditional 100% owned tickets plus one or more pools of 10 tickets each. Thus, a player who spends $6 could get three 100% owned tickets plus 3 pools of 10 tickets each giving them a total of 33 chances to win for only $6. Amada states, With PoolingPLUS, the Lottery sells more tickets at full price and the players get the best of both worlds the opportunity to 'win it all' through their

Virginia Lottery adds Sunday drawings
I think she means the scratch-offs pay out better, which they do. And you are right, the only sure-fire way to increase sales is to raise payouts. It's been demonstrated time and time again. And about Cash 5, the reason the payouts seem so low in comparison to Pick 3/4 is because Cash 5 has more ways to win. With Cash 5, the prize pool has to be split amongst the 3 prize levels which subsequently reduces the odds-to-payout ratio. With Pick 3/4 on the other hand, there's only 1 prize to wi

The triples are coming! The triples are coming!
You're more than welcome!! Stumbled on the information by accident a few years back when working on C-3, C-4 numbers and finding that some of the numbers for Cash 3 ended up hitting in Cash 4 and vice versa. Thought I might be but called the Georgia Lottery and found out all Cash 3 and Cash 4 draws come from the same pool of ballsets. That's why the Lottery Post Daily Numbers Game results is so important for figuring out pairs, skips, etc., which might hit in one or the other games. I'd

Lottery pool loses $36 million jackpot; wrong tickets bought
This is an example of each member of the pool holding the person accountable to play the tickets as per the pool. If no one is keeping taps on the person who is purchasing the tickets then this is what you get!. Sad story indeed but it is what you get. :(

Lottery pool loses $36 million jackpot; wrong tickets bought
You know what my take on this is? It is as much a fault of all the other players, as it is the person responsible for buying the tickets. If you're going to participate in a lottery pool (which itself is a BAD IDEA), you should make it an absolute requirement that all participating members have a photocopy of all the tickets, prior to the drawing. Obviously the people in this pool did not, or they would have caught the error. For all they knew, the numbers were not played properly in p
