Who Wants to be a Millionaire
I just received a valpak mailer that had a card inside for winning at home if I watch Millionaire. Seems simple enough. Just wondering if anyone else has received this in the mail? (For the record, you can't win a million, but I think a few thousand.)

Mega Millions or Powerball will reach Half a Billion.Reply
The Mega Millions draw video includes an estimate of the next jackpot if there is no winner. I looked up the video from the March 6, 2007 draw with the record jackpot, and the announcer said that if there were no winners the next jackpot would be 470 million. It's already been within one step of being close to a half-billion.

Does anyone here know what happened to Brad Duke?
You might remember him winning a then-record Powerball jackpot years ago that netted him $85 million in cash after taking the payout. He was one of the few success stories. There was a news article in a prominent publication about how he has been investing his winnings, but that was back in 2005. Has anyone since heard anything about the Idaho native?

Up to now, Powerball's jackpot has rarely been updated. This is a rare event but because there are a lot more players this drawing, the jackpot was increased from $107M to $115M. Also, the jackpot amount is estimated, it's not an exact amount. The jackpot amount advertised is no indication that the jackpot isn't getting bigger. For example, the record Mega Millions jackpot was estimated and advertised to be $370M, but when all was said and done, it had actually went to $390M.

I think all serious lottery players should track the games they play and record their drawings so they have the data to check out anything they hear about those games. You might be surprised the number of lottery statistics quoted that aren't supported by facts.

Hi Luki.. Your picks here look (WAY) better --most of them are in the top 5 combos from as stated in the 1st of this thread.. Right now none of the top 5 have hit for 11 draws.. The record is 11 draws over the past 1.5 years that none of the top 5 hit and that only happened once..I am definitly going to go out and get 20 bucks worth of 5 day draws on the top 4 tomorrow..simular to yours.. Ok just for the record 812 was for neighbor. And Howling was 167 comb. Which I am playing the 761.
