Florida finally had a PB winner
Why? Florida often has record sales. There are over 18.2 million people living in FL (not to mention all the illegal immigrants) and it's a popular tourist destination too. Anyway, if it's random, why would it matter?

NY Lottery and Anonymity
I just got an email response from nj lotto. they state its a matter of public record anyone can check who the winners are, also it can be a requirement to do a press conference if you win. that about sums it up. Maybe its for the best playing for small jackpots under a mil.

Do you think the Mega Millions Jackpot will get much higher??
It seems to me that if Powerball and MM are both large at the same time and one of them is hit then ineveitably the other gets hit in the next couple of draws..........I would like to see another $300 + jackpot or even a record breaking $400 million plus......Anyone think there's a chance???????

Pennsylvania Pick 3 - 4 Serious Players
Hello friends. If you really need a win in Pa. Play sum 11 nightime. It's been 100 draws since it's shown up and will be coming VERY soon. It's already broken every record. I don't count the day draw because it's computer generated and has no impact on mechanical ball draws. Hope this helps and good luck to all.

Lottery heartbreak: Florida man says he lost $500,000 ticket
Signing the ticket would certainly prevent somebody else from cashing it, but at the very least the lottery office will do a thorough security check before paying anyone else who presents the ticket. Whether a confirmation ticket is issued or not, if a winning ticket is scanned in a lottery terminal the lottery should have a record that identifies that ticket, along with when and where it was scanned. Unless somebody else can produce the ticket and tell the lottery office when and where it was s

Hawaii residents now taxed on Vegas winnings even if they lose
Man, what a record keeping nightmare. I can just see the pit bosses going nuts on the casino floor when all of the Hawaiians pull out their calculators and pads of paper to keep track of their winnings. No sir, I am not counting cards, I am keeping track of my winnings for tax purposes.
