Where's the mathematics?
Lucky Loser
If you watch the Texas Pick 3 and Daily 4 drawings, how can you not know that the 'Sums' are totals that are applied 'outside' the drawing machines.
I'm really surprised you have an incorrect interpretation of what's actually happening.
As you point out, the Sums are a feature having an 'extra' fee.
BTW The Sums feature is going away next next March. It will be replaced with a feature called 'Fireball' and will cost extra.
I believe Fireball will actually be a secon

Missouri Lottery facing challenging issues with vendor contract
One of the Missouri Lottery's biggest contracts might not stand up in court if it was challenged by the company that runs its statewide network of ticket sales.
That means the state doesn't collect as much money as the contract allows when the company is penalized for breakdowns.
And, even when the Lottery does collect money for penalties, the proceeds are not directly funding public schools across the Show-Me state, according to a review by the Post-Dispatch. Rather, the cash is being rol

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Im done with the lottery. Im keeping the rest of my winnings and running. I walked into a small mom and pop store earlier today and they have a vending machine for tix. They are able to access the machine themselves to re-stock the games if ticket sell out. I have seen this happen at 7-11's also ... Anyways, I stop in today to grab a sandwich, and they had the machine open, re-stocking whatever games were out. I happened to notice inside a LOT of books piled up inside. I asked the owner why he h

Update: Players sue Delaware Lottery for $2M over disputed Keno tickets
Two Delaware men are claiming they haven't seen a penny of the $2 million they say the state lottery owes them after a computer glitch spewed out multiple matching numbers.
John Brookings Jr. and Richard Spence played Keno a bingo-style lottery game in which players can win based on how many numbers they match and how much they wager at a retailer in New Castle County last December, according to the lawsuit.

Woman denied $43 million jackpot, offered steak dinner instead
It was a selfie she thought was worth nearly $43 million.
Katrina Bookman hit the jackpot on a slot machine in late August at Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, Queens. She even took an excited self-portrait with the machine displaying her winnings: $42,949,672. It would have been the largest slot machine jackpot in US history.
I can't even describe the feeling. It's like my whole body just got numb, Bookman said.
But when she came back the next day to find out the exact size of her jack

Some folks are so distracted.
This incident is not about a lottery ticket but...
I was at a drive through teller with one car in front of me. That person did their transaction and took off. When I got to the machine, the car in front of me had left all their cash!
In other words, the lady took her ATM card, and receipt but left the cash... When I pulled up and saw the money I got out of my car to flag her down but she kept going.
I went back, did my transaction, pull into a parking

Luckiest States
Please do the statistics on Indiana for the last 5 draws. Consistently 5%-7% under statiscal average for the number of winning tickets there should be vs. what there actually is. You say they can't be programmed for bias, but you are wrong. There hadn't been a million dollar PB winner in 2 years in Indiana since they switched out the terminals. The new algorithim the machine uses will pick a number 1-10 or even two numbers 1-10 a way higher threshold than what it should be. Humans are very good

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Overall odds are that there are 4 winners in 500,000 tickets so simple math would calculate to 1/125,000
If the 4 top prize tickets were sold in the first 4 tickets, that would seem to throw the odds out of whack and that's
probably where the disagreement comes in at work.....they/you are thinking in terms of top prize winnings being sold right
off the bat..then what happens to the odds?...it makes some sense thinking like you do and if that scenario happened,
it would seem the odds
