A Lottery Delema--Winfall or just fall?
CT,
I have this edition :)
I'd say memories are more important. Memory is learning. That is what guides us through life.
Happy memories get us though rough patches. Unpleasant ones (or events that could have turned out that way) help us steer clear of bad situations, or keep you awake at night. I'm sure you can think of any number of dumb things you did that were hilarious at the time, but you would not do them again.
Supposedly there is research going on to erase unpleasant memories

Have you given up hope that you will win the jackpot?
I started collecting my losing pick3, pick4 powerball tickets in July...and let me tell you, I am SHOCKED at how much money I've spent. Makes me wanna cry actually. I thought that I could use them when I file my taxes but I was told that I would have to win a big pot in order to use my losing tickets...I don't know...I'll ask an accountant how it works.
If you think you've got it bad, it'll take me over 2 decades to use up all my capital losses from the stock market, unless I start investin

Listings of Jackpot > odds?
But why include taxes? everyone pays taxes, no?
I took taxes into account because they determine how much you actually get. You're balancing risk and reward, and the point at which they're equal is when buying every combination would result in breaking even by recovering what was spent. In other words, buying all 175,711,536 combinations by spending $175,711,536 would win back the $175,711,536 that was spent. Of course much of the money is returned to players in the form of smaller prizes,

What is the probability of this happening again?
It is that simple. What you've done is list all possible outcomes and the ratio between two types of outcomes, and assumed that the ratio can be used to determine the probabilty of one unlikely set of possible outcomes. That works for the possible outcomes of a single event, but not multiple iterations, as in this case. In essence you're using each new flip to change the probability of previous flips.
Let's start from flip # 2 and then look at what happens with flip # 3. As you correctly note

THIS Is How It's Done (BIG PowerBall Win)
That is my point exactly KY Floyd.
What says this guy has a system. Because he can bet on one PB number a get a hit. I have played PB for over three years. The last thing I would do is bet on a single event or occurance. That goes for every lottery game.
If this guy had a system why doesn't he sell his software for $49.99 so you can buy it instead of giving his $200 weekly. I use the same betting technique. I don't see what proves he got a winning system. If he is doing this for a lot of p

$325 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
Don't worry, you succeeded, but I won't hold that against you. :)
You have to take into account that I've lived in NJ my entire life (and I'm 32 in a few days).
I would only need to do it temporarily until all of my affairs are in order. I own investment property (if you want to call it that) and I would need to make sure that my tenants pay their rent to me before I ship out for good. I don't want them to think that they will live rent-free just because their home is free and clea

Hello all, Newbie here
Thank you, TigerAngel. I can tell folks here are friendly.
I mentioned it in another post, but it was WinLottoPro. I didn't want to sound like I was spamming (not like I would get money, and even if I did, I probably hate SPAM more than Todd does anyway...LOL). My post about printing bet slips does get into detail about what I had to do to get it working. My printer only allows printing from the center. Also, another caveot about the number selection...there was ALOT of other numbers inc

Mega Millions--using a static ticket or random QP
Thanks, Pink and your right. I suppose I should look at it as 'possible' but not impossible to hit at some point, then again I'm fully aware I could play MM the rest of my days and it would never hit. I can only hope it would
Ya Dollar, I'm more like you playing both sides of the spectrum in the event the QP 'could' be the one being printed, so highly unlikely it is. Then again I just started to be committed to regular play, than jumping in like the rest do when its 200+ mil and many tim

man and woman who approached me with million dollar scratchoff
I only asked a simple question. And I'm not bitter.
You seem to have a chip on your shoulder. You present an event on a forum and expect everyone to just nod their head in agreement?
Some folks like to know a little more info about the limited scenario you wrote here. One of them was me. And you answered my question. Why get all huffy about someone asking a question? So because a few folks asked some questions and commented with slightly different views on this doesn't mean it's been taken

Mango Dream
Hi All,
I know its been a LoOOoOOoOOng while since I've posted.
N e ways my dream was all about mango's and 2 tiny soldier crabs. I was picking off a tree full of ripe mango's and almost every one i got had already been eaten out of. There were 2 that had tiny soldier crabs on them.
In any event we all know that when you dream of fruit it means a number will repeat. Here are the numbers below for my dream.
Fruit 200 210***
Crab 432
Good Luck!
