Mega Millions lottery to introduce changes when California joins game
Can someone post who said anything will change. I just went over the news releases and didn't see anyting regarding any changes. It's nice that the price won't change but I'm beginning to doubt they are serious about changing the game matrix.

CALIFORNIA JOINS MEGA MILLIONS
Did you guys see what they are doing too. California will be the first state to join a multi-state game and have different payouts for lower tier prizes. By law California has to have para-mutual prizes. So they are not going to have the same amounts that we are so used to. Thats odd. I think California need to do some law changing. Brad

Maryland
Good day all,On the question of Maryland lotto changing, I don't feel it will. This game has been with us for so long, and I think that the revenue from it is allocated to someone or something in someway that Msla will not get rid of it. I maybe wrong, but that's just a feeling I have.I know someone, who knows someone that won a bonus match 5 and received a check for 47,000 approximately.gotta go. Litebets27

computerized drawings
No, I don't think every state will. I think that if it were put to a vote that most people would vote no. It should be up to the people not the state that decides these things. The peoples voice cannot be heard if the states keep changing rules and laws without the peoples knowledge or consent. from what I gather reading about these computerized drawing is the state change from balls to computers without even doing a poll to see whether the people wanted the game to change from balls to computer

Powerball Expansion.
i could very well see it expanding to canada in the next couple years and that would mean changing the matrix and it could end up being the first game to have a billion dollar jackpot if the jackpot kept building long enough,i could never see it in mexico due to language barriers.........

Lottery marketing
Texas advertises the Lottery like it is going out of style, which it is if you consider how lousy the sales of Texas Lotto tickets have been lately. The TLC, according to rumor, may be changing the Texas Lotto back to the 6-50 game. We'll wait and see.Orangeman

Clarification
George,I am open to the possibility of changing the Iowa and Illinois games to one multi-state game, if there is a lot of support for it.I'll post a poll in the Pick 3 forum to see if there is support. If it is overwhelming support to change it I will. If it's a close call I'll just leave it as-is.Thanks!

Mega Millions vs. Powerball?
The only reason Powerball rollovers were bigger was that Texas was not selling well yet. Then MM had a big run-up, and Texas caught on. If you recall, MM was hit a number of time in a row also (followed by the expected cries for changing the game).

Texas Evening 6-17-2004
Well.....the signs were there strong for Doubles, however, they didnt play :( 483 played....another Sum 15. That's 3 Sums 15 in 4 games! For Midday my Straight Stack had 0-1-2 in the 1st position....7 or 9 in the 2nd and something less the 7 in the 3rd. Turned out to be a 3 digit repeat with the 6 and 7 changing places and leaving the 2 in the 1st position....for 276. Previous day game was 267. I was really leaning towards the 096.

Stay with your numbers
I wouldn't stay with favorite numbers as they don't offer nothing in return..we see how numbers drop and they are Always different except on occasion when they come in back to back...I have been there and bought the t shirt but I can tell you that chasing down the numbers is more lucrative as i have won more then i have invested by changing numbers every game . So , change your numbers all the time , except for the one or two hot ones and WHEEL them for MAXIMUM EFFECT and you can expect to w
