A BIG No! Why you ask? Well, if you won say $200Mil, stayed anonymous somehow * heaven forbid, blew through that amount left nothing for your kids or grandkids, only you those close to you would know. A private loss so to speak. However ,exposing yourself to the world losing your wealth could take a toll on your physical mental health since you found it necessary to crow about your financial status. Some have committed suicide due to shame as they call it. So once again, no thanks!

Congrats to the winner. All the US states with lotteries that do no allow winners to remain anonymous and talk about the importance of transparency need to read this until it sinks in. Camelot said it had a duty of care to protect the anonymity of all National Lottery winners and that it would not release further details about the ticket holder's claim.
